go to ebay.ca or ebay.com and type 08 lancer taillights... i bought a newer set off of there after my old ones got smashed when i got rear ended and they fixed the resistor problem... dont have to put any resistors on there and they do not burn out, plus cruise control works again otherwise i suggest buying at least a load resistor rated at 4 ohms that can handle upwards of 50 watts so they dont overheat and melt like my last ones did
no i figured it out now since im a electrician i just went through why and heres a tip for anyone installing these lights.... if u hook one of the plugs backwards and one normal it blows fuses because they are on a circuit so it basically dead shorts as soon as you hit the brakes and blows the fuse. one warning though, on the 09s it will kill your cruise control with no resistance in the taillights so you would ahve to add resistors to make it work properly!

DId you roll your fenders? I have Evo X GSR wheels on my GTS but the back wheels keeps rubbing when I hit big bumps. I'm think about rolling my fenders.
mmmmmm I like the black ralliart ones better... those leds does not look even. The ones that are within the trunk area look if like the brake light was on (those LEDs look brighter than the corner ones when the brake pedal is not being pushed)

@darrandor u need a led resistor but they get really hot . i think u can get a relay for it to might be better

maybe a short somewhere in the line, double check everything, leds usually dont blow fuses as they are alot less wattage.
