what are u talking about,, it makes a lot of sense, when it gets unplugged it ll just pause itself, it does the same with videos, it has a purpose, not to play through the speaker when the headphones get disconected. It saved my ass many times , especially during class

It makes sense actually. If your ear phone jack get accidentally pulled out, the music will not play through the speakers disturbing everybody around you. :-)
