I can't even imagine what another one would do in TRI SLi...and 3 of theses sick puppies will destroy 2X9800 GX2's in SLi...I've seen it done.

Yes, just as long as you have the power requirements (450W) and I think you do if you have a GTS. A PCI express x16 slot is a lot faster then the one you have. That is the only thing that is different from the 1.0 slot.

Okay, fact why the 9800GTX is better than the 8800 Ultra in some way :

1-1688 MHz Shader Clock for the 9800GTX against 1512MHz for the 8800Ultra

2-675 MHz Core Clock for the 9800GTX against 612 MHz for the 8800 ultra

That's why, in some way, 9800GTX is better than the 8800 ultra ... But for sure, if you look all the configuration, the 8800ultra is better than the 9800GTX, but not by far... and the price of 9800GTX is better! that's another fact...
