this is a year ago and I haven't really kept up with the updates and such but if he is still up to these shenanigans, its really pathetic. there's an understanding reason to want to have some alone time to yourself to just get away after raising 8 kids 24/7 but that entails maybe a night or two in a hotel, or the kids at grandma's not vacationing to Paris and leaving your kids behind like they don't exist. I think that's incredibly selfish, regardless of how their marriage ended.
He left the kids too. Are they all devils? Everyone makes mistakes and Kate has, only John's mistakes give Kate a biblical reason for divorce. He pretty much sealed the deal. If everyone left a marriage because of a rude comment or not be "treated" perfect, where would this world be. John is showing the world the wrong way to handle marital problems. What a discraceful example he is setting for his kids and to the world.
