This song reminds me of being a little kid, when my mom introduced me to the world of Middle Earth. I was three, sitting in the living room and my mom explained to me what a Hobbit was, and about The One Ring. I had this HUGE smile on my face when I heard this. Lord of the Rings has been a part of my life for ten years and it always will! I'll always be that little girl who thought she was a Hobbit (or sometimes an elf), waiting for her Hogwarts acceptance letter. I will never change inside. :)

It's not about the wars or the bad times... it's about how we come together in the dimmest of times. It's about friendship. Shore's music reflects this message of Tolkien perfectly... and Jackson's filming also understood it wasn't about who could make the biggest Baysplosion or the goriest battles.. it was about those little Hobbits. About love.
