mam do panstwa nastepujace pytania: czy panstwa przewodniczka mowiaca po polsku byla obywatelka naszego kraju czy tez koreanka doskonale znajaca nasz jezyk?i jaki jest koszt takiej fascynujacej wyprawy?
The song is awesome! I've heard it on many other clips, notably the one showing a :57 clip of Ryugyong, but most of them are cut off. This is the first time I've heard the song in its entirety and it is phenomenal! Where can I find it in mp3 version so I can add it to my iTunes? I don't think iTunes store will have it lol
Bottom Line: This is a tourist video showing "government approved" streets and areas of the country. All tourists who visit N. Korea are carefully watched by government minders at all times when site seeing.
Kaesong is beautiful and clean here, but the government would never allow footage of labor/concentration camps, executions of "traitors" who commit crimes against the state, nor people eating their dead relatives or tree bark due to lack of food.
@nightfrog65 -------------but the government would never allow footage of labor/concentration camps--------->The same holds true for all countries I know off, well at least all ASEAN countries. Even in Thailand whenever media goes to film prisons there (where drug offenders are held) the Thai authorities only show u a very small manicured section of the prison.
@nightfrog65 -------------nor people eating their dead relatives or tree bark due to lack of food.--------->U r not allowed to film misery and poverty in the Tribal Belts of India either. If u do, u r secceptable to get arrested by CRPF troops.
wow, a very nice looking country. from the images in the video, I don't mind living there. seriously, the streets are not crowded and clean, and so GREEN, a lot of big buildings and look so peaceful. Compare this to my country, is still alot better.
A typical response from a land locked american. Travel the world and know how lucky you are that you have the privilege of living in the states. Freedom is taken granted for to the extreme here. Lose it and then you will know how precious it is. Thank you.
for North-Korean governement admirators : seek other videos on youtube about this country, and specially "children of secret state". you'll see what a wonderful land is, and how people is happy there.
You underestimate the complete and utter dominance of a government like that. Look at American Democracy and it's vice grip on its population. The U.S. is among the most free societies ever to exist. That just shows how total the control must be in the most closed.
Wow great footage. I can't believe you got this out of DPKR. Notice that there was not a single car in the whole video, and the only other vehicle was a cart being pulled by an ox or something.
I know what you mean. You're talking about the first song? I've heard some other "pure" North Korean music too, and what I noticed is that its very catchy: the melodies and the singing mesh very well. Charateristic of North Korean music is a high-pitched singer, background singers, and a funny guitar in the back. The beats are very 80's ish. Now imagine using some real up to date techno/hip-hop beats with this and mix it up, the first song would sound dope.
Show me the hungry in North Korea!!! I evoke anyone who thinks there is starving people in North Korea (journalists, politicians, ONU, international associations, everyone) to upload just a photo or a small video and attest this affirmation. I'm watching a lot of videos filmed by occident groups and I see no hungriness. But I can see hungriness in Bronx (New York), in Paris, São Paulo, Berlin, Roma, Canada, South Africa, Taiwan, Pretoria and in the hole capitalist world.
i hate people who wants everything handed to them. if you want to find out for yourself, go do a research. I assume all your information came form a 10 minute search on youtube.
theres plenty of videos of NKoreans starving and even dead, plus NK doesn't want to show that kind of stuff about their country, they want to show that they are well off, but North Koreans are suffering as well
search for daily life North korea in youTube(here) u'll see the poor and the starve. LOL no wonder there's no police they can't even walk to macdonald. if there's any...
They do not need police in north korea. Who needs police are the capitalist countries. A capitalist country needs police to protect the rich people from the poor people, the white people from the black people, the european from the arabians etc.
I would like to know the meaning of the first two songs. Can anyone translate?

If you have read George Orwell book 1984/Big Brother then you have a small knowledge how North Korea is run by a petty despot dictator.

Are you serious? Can't we watch many North Koreans who are awfully starving at Youtube??
BTW you seem to have a romantic yearning in communism, so let me say the following, please.
In fact now North Korea is not a communism nation but a kind of despotic monarchy.
The government cast away communism and, instead, has brought its nation the Kim-Il-Sung-ism.
