  • gay video peace of crap music too

  • @budda1234321 Music I dont like, but these guys are just having some fun, cant you just accept that?

  • great video, annoying music...

  • Great reasons to put greater restrictions on people with all terrain vehicles. Your club should be fined and if you get club status rego discounts you should lose them cause this is environmental vandalism.

  • @troy5690 Yep and then they also need to stop the tide coming in and washing the sand around too, if some cars throwing sand about is unreasonable imagine how much damage thousands of tons of water do twice daily.

    Oh, wait... you're an idiot.

  • @clearairturbulance I'm an idiot? Coming from a guy who thinks that driving a vehicle full of pollutants is acceptable to be driven in a tidal creek, on a World Heritage island.

    Nice one champ.

  • @troy5690 Yep, no-one should be allowed to have any fun ever. And definitely no-one shouldn't be allowed to go to world heritage sites to enjoy them. And 'Full of pollutants'? its like you think they're dumping crude oil everywhere like a villain from Capitan planet...

    Nope... you're definitely an idiot.

  • @clearairturbulance I'm all for fun and had the opportunity to camp and fish lots of great places around Oz, Fraser included.

There is a few different kind of people out on the roads, I think its pretty clear which camp you reside in. You can have fun your way, but I think you know it isn't the right way.

  • @troy5690 I'm in the camp that people ought to be allowed to do what they like as long as they aren't breaking the law or interfering with others. I don't mind if they want to build custom cars or collect lots of knives. Different people like different stuff.

These guys aren't doing any damage here, the tide will come and rearrange all the sand anyway. If they were racing around the tracks on the island's interior ripping them up and causing danger to other vehicles then sure, thats wrong.

  • @clearairturbulance I agree that due to large tidal activity the damage that they are doing to the banks is probably irrelevant.

I do remain convinced that these vehicles would be introducing chemicals, even if in small amounts. Its not like they are performing a quick creek crossing. One of the vehicles can be seen driving within the creek.

Its mainly the chemical introduction I have concerns with, lets face it, these vehicles are circa 1960's, I'm sure they have the odd leak here and there ;)

  • @troy5690 I have doubts they leak more than trace amounts simply because if stuff is getting out, it means water is getting in and that means they stop working.

The other fact is the big picture, as much as hybrid manufacturers would claim, it doesn't help the environment to scrap a perfectly functional vehicle in favour of a highly complex modern one full of computers and nik-cad batteries. Maintaining classic cars additionally preserves a bit of history, they can be almost art if you will.

  • @clearairturbulance Agreed, these are classic. Thats why I was watching Buggy video's. I am throwing around the idea of getting one. I always thought I would get one of these as my first car but I ended up with a SWB FJ40 Tojo instead, great little bus.

The Tojo has been superseded, but the desire to have a Buggy still remains.

  • and then people wonder why they are getting strict on fraser.

  • mexico?

  • I want to get a Baja Beetle like the one at 0:52

  • Looks like a lot of fun.

  • idiots.

  • are you guys crazy!!! thats gonna kill your cars

  • Lucky VW's don't rust MUCH. Gotta love that salt water.
