Thierry chose a field which bench marks aren't really set in stone like in literature, where it's easier to tell crazy from genius. He chose the most ambiguous field. lol
But, nah he looks like a great guy who spreads positivity and I'm all for it.
i worked as this guys accountant, manager, personal assistant, driver, casting agent, studio manager etc and so on, my life revolved 125 percent around his...you can imagine how crazy that would be.....and to answer all your questions he is 125 percent the real deal and not a creation of BANKSYS...i remember when mr brainwash was a little tiny sticker you would find only on the doors of melrose shops...he is the funniest thing in the world!
After watching Exit Through the Gift Shop I got the impression that "Mr Brainwash" is just a creation by Banksy and a pisstake of the vacuous nature of so called 'modern art'.

But then again, I don't know much about the art world, so people could think Warhol was a chump as well. I don't think MBW wants to be called a street artist, so much as let people know he was INSPIRED by street art.
i think thierry has a big heart, he was hungrier than banksy to succeed, even when he was filming he wanted to do it badly , he didnt care what people thought about him he just hoped that through his artwork he could make people smile, I think anyone can agree thats the persona of an artist.

in my personal opinion he is not a true artist. he is more of the "idea guy". the artists are his team that is actually making the sculptures, prints and paintings. he just drips a few paint marks on it or splatter it with paint. the credit needs to be given to his team
