how in the world is such a great film like this even comparable to tyler perry ? The characters in the film are very accurate in real life and none of the characters are stereotypical.this is the most healing movie for blk women out there, and women period.i'm just going to assume you're a blk man that didn't like how the men were portrayed, which is understandable, but with a stereotypical username like "yomommasdaddy", you shouldn't be talking.

I guess you can say it's just a representation of how some women think, not how all black women think.

Regardless, this is a good film to me.

It's about the pain in life and surpassing the challenges that may be faced when overcoming those pains.
