A global currency is the most obvious and transparent solution towards economic equilibrium. Any denial of this is pure fear and I can understand people being scared. Replacing the dollar with an artificial currency would solve some of the problems related to the potential of countries running large deficits and would help stability.

@agentofnecessity Having care for one another is all well and good but there will always be a need for trade and currency, without that how else can we have regulation and progress? Having the worlds global powers come together would benefit all of humanity. Putting aside national differences show's how much we care about each other and shows the potential for us uniting.

@tom1yum2goong Putting aside our national differences needs not involve the merging of powers into one. That is called an empire. Hypothetically, who do you suggest runs this one global power? It is not necessary. Through generosity, responsibility and hard work we are more than capable of providing for ourselves and those in need around us -that's all there is to it. Once we disguard currency greed will evapourate and necessary trading of resources will become possible.

Oh and a One World Currency means a less stable economy. The IMF will just do exactly what the Fed has been doing only the IMF arent responsible to anyone but themselves. Theyre not elected by anyone, and are the definition of a cartel/monopoly.
