  • Holla! Have you considered Cashinizer (just google it)? Ive heard some great things about it and my buddy made a lot of cash practically overnight with it. ;D

  • huh??

  • It is very interesting for collaborate whis You Tube !

    good stuff

    Great video on video!

  • [Comment from Facebook id: 571116586]

    I love YouTube

  • If your a rapper that is beginning, how do you collab with another rapper from far?

  • Do you think viral videos can successfully be manufactured?

  • Definitely - with the right content, it doesn't really matter about who has produced it.

  • I'm looking forward to this series... there are loads of so called viral videos that I am interested in, and I'd love to hear how they managed to get 1million views, and how they got the idea and whether they knew it would be so successful.

  • Is it true that YT doesn't actually make ANY money at all? someone told me that yesterday.

  • Surely they must! And if not there's something majorly wrong with that.

  • Shortly, there will be a new President of the USA. In your view, how can he use video to best impact his sucess in office, as President?

  • Shahar Boyayan the Expert replies: Using videos to tell stories, show examples of results and case studies. Simple, to the point.

  • Marc Elsner the Expert replies: I'm from germany. 8]

  • Larry Graves the Expert replies: I think he could have his own Youtube account and post monthly or weekly videos, as Youtube is as popular as television these days and he will connect with the youth greatly this way.

  • Chris Brown the Expert replies: Online video provides a forum for drawing back the curtain and showing the public what you're really like. If you wrestle with a tough decision, tell us how you came to it. If you see something amazing on a trip abroad, show us. If you need to sell a program or policy, take us behind the scenes and show us the real people that you hope the program will help.

CBO reports and expert analysis are important, but a well-produced video tells a deep, emotional,

  • visceral story.

Spending five minutes with a camcorder on Air Force One after a tough day will tell us more than all the press releases your representatives are likely to ever write.

  • Michael Hoffman the Expert replies: Barack Obama doesn't need advice on social media marketing -- their campaign has been brilliant in this area. In terms of video, he has done tremendous innovation, which could be the subject of it's own whole story.

I believe the Obama team will continue to use their 3 million+ list, millions of cell phone numbers (text messaging) and their web and online video reach to bring public support to pressure Congress to pass his legislative agenda. He will not

  • let this community go, and web video will be a critical tool in how he governs.

  • Bill Balderaz the Expert replies: Video can be used to quickly distribute content to a world wide audience, and empowers consumers to distribute that content to each other.

  • Steve M. Parker, Jr. the Expert replies: Well, I think it can be used as a communication tactic. Clearly, we have seen the Internet has had a great impact on campaigns in the last couple years in particular this presidential election. Obama has raised record dollars ($200 Million of which was raised soeley only via donations of $200 or less).

Video online to communicate specific messages about healthcare, taxes, jobs, etc...can be very useful and will speak directly to those interested in

  • that specifc topic - it makes it all that more personable. Instead of forcing the community at large to watch a video that contans all of the above or worse yet endure a 1 or 2 hour state of the union the President could speak to specifc issues and provide them individually online.

It's about segmentation of thoughts and needs. My needs and wants as an individual are different than that of my neighbour.

  • Lou Bortone the Expert replies: The same way that Obama has used video such as the "Yes We Can" video that circulated on the Internet. Use video to reach younger and more tech-savvy citizens...

  • Jordan Mauriello the Expert replies: Create a reality video blog on a day in the life of the President and include videos that showcase coverage of important meetings, events, decisions, and the President just doing good things to allow the public to keep the faith in the change he is bringing to the country. He could also include short videos describing actions he plans on taking and poll visitors on what are the most important issues to them.

  • What big mistake do people generally make with video, and what specifically can be done to avoid it?

  • Shahar Boyayan the Expert replies: Understand that even though some videos attract millions of people, what really counts is how involved your audience is with your message. Be persistent, there is no overnight success online.

  • Marc Elsner the Expert replies: - Not interesting video titles.

  • Larry Graves the Expert replies: Videos running on too long. I have seen some good videos that soon bored me because they were too long (ten minutes or more...)

Copying other popular videos (for instance other kids copying the very popular "Fred" series.)

Lousy sound video. Demeaning others just to get attention.

  • Chris Brown the Expert replies: See above.

  • Michael Hoffman the Expert replies: Not spending enough resources on outreach. Doing a great video is only the first step. You have to work the YouTube community - it is a social network! - and other online communities to make sure people are watching. Map the community of people who already care about what you are talking about and make sure they know your video is there.

  • Bill Balderaz the Expert replies: Often times companies think a "talking head" or quarterly report is compelling content. Wrong. Make your content fun, useful, emotional or otherwise compelling.

  • Steve M. Parker, Jr. the Expert replies: Again, it depends on the goal.

The biggest mistake is generally not being truthful or trying too hard to be somehitng the video is not. Consumers will rebel.

Also, not supporting the video via. Psot it and they will come is not a strategic approach.

  • Lou Bortone the Expert replies: Bad lighting, bad audio, or bad "composition," i.e. bad background or environment. I do post-production on all my videos and use green screen and chromakey backgrounds...

  • Jordan Mauriello the Expert replies: When videos "feel" like an advertisement. Viewers don’t want to send ads to their friends or even know that they’re being sold unless the videos demonstrate amazing visual effects or are ridiculously funny, which facilitates viral participation.

  • In your view, what are the top five key (and essential) ingredients to making a really succesful YouTube video?

  • Shahar Boyayan the Expert replies: Provide only content with no sales call, be real and transparent, not worry too much with the technology involved, content comes first online, quality comes second. Be consistent, interact with the audience.

  • Marc Elsner the Expert replies: - Interesting title

    - About a topic that appeals lots of people

    - Good Tags

    - Good Content :)

  • Larry Graves the Expert replies: Originality. Time length. No copyright infringement. Getting people's attention. Promotion.

  • really are. If you're posting a marketing video, don't try to con users by masking your identity. Lying to the community doesn't create a positive feeling about your brand.

    5. Have fun! This isn't a whitepaper competition... YouTube success depends on being authentic, and authenticity is natural when you're having fun. (But don't force it -- everybody can tell when you're trying to be funny, or viral.)

  • Michael Hoffman the Expert replies: 1. Be brief.

    2. Be authentic. (People can see through fake marketing messages.)

    3. Have good sound. (People will watch bad video with good sound, but will not watch good video with bad sound.)

    4. Make a clear call to action. You have their attention, now tell your viewers how you want them to engage.

    5. Be relevant. Respond to current events or use well-known cultural references.

  • Bill Balderaz the Expert replies: Create great and compelling content and make sure it is visible. If you would not forward the video to someone, it's probably not a good video.

  • Steve M. Parker, Jr. the Expert replies: That depends on your goal. For a brand or business trying to make headway...

    1. It needs to have a hook (why would a consumer want to watch)

    2. It needs to be short (under 2 minutes)

    3. It needs to have specific copy for the title

    4. Must allow consumers the ability to share and embed in blogs or websites

    5. Be truthful, don't misinform

  • Lou Bortone the Expert replies: Must be compelling, creative, brief, captivating and (if possible) funny!

  • Jordan Mauriello the Expert replies: 1. Make it short (:15 to :30 is key)

    2. Make the video shocking, creating "was that real" moments worth investigating.

    3. Sex sells, leverage it appropriately and respectfully.

    4. Optimize the title and meta tags of your video by changing them frequently. Tap into sites like TMZ and PinkistheNewBlog to see what’s in the headlines that week. Make the title catchy and potentially misleading. Use words like leaked video, exclusive, never seen, and

  • behind-the-scenes footage.

    5. Use interesting thumbnails for your content. The more interesting and intriguing the thumbnail image, the more compelled someone will be to investigate it further.

  • Where do you believe YouTube or the YouTube community will go next?

  • Shahar Boyayan the Expert replies: YouTube will figure ways to bring more advertising and share with the producers. The community will decide the advertising format that works for them.

  • Michael Hoffman the Expert replies: YT will continue to add social networking features and introduce better ways of predicting what a viewer will want to see next. (Something more like Netflix than simply a tag-based system.)

  • Christian Boyles the Expert replies: I believe that youtube has already gotten pretty far and it's hard for me to imagine. I do know, however, that many people have became famous off of youtube. For instance, Fred was put on the Nick television show "ICarly".

  • Sebastian Wolff the Expert replies: I am one of many hopefuls who believe YouTube will once again up their video quality (after Google's purchase of the start-up) and feature High Definition content.

  • Logan the Expert replies: I believe that YouTube and services like it will replace TV entirely soon.

  • Please identify the biggest mistake that people make on YouTube

  • Shahar Boyayan the Expert replies: Try to reach all kinds of audience and try a couple of times and give up.

  • Michael Hoffman the Expert replies: Thinking that one viral video is valuable to their long-term success.

  • Christian Boyles the Expert replies: In my opinion the biggest mistake you can make is probably putting something unfit onto youtube. For instance, pornography. That will get the video immediately deleted and your account suspended. Another example would be teen beatings that have been posted on youtube in the past. These teens even got arrested. Just watch what you post on youtube. Think about the consequences.

  • Sebastian Wolff the Expert replies: N A

  • Logan the Expert replies: They try to hard. Do not try too hard, it looks fake. This is not TV and doesn't have to be slick. Slick becomes fake on YouTube. Also, don't sell products, give opinions.

  • Please name your top five tips for success on YouTube

  • Shahar Boyayan the Expert replies: Entertain

    bring very good content

    Be real

    Be transparent

    Be consistent

  • Michael Hoffman the Expert replies: 1. Treat YouTube as a social network, not a video sharing site -- make friends

    2. Keep your content short

    3. Post frequently

    4. Make videos responses to popular videos and be thoughtful in your tagging

    5. Have a video contest - attract other good content makers to your brand

  • Christian Boyles the Expert replies: 1. Take your time editing the video. Perfection takes time.

    2. Have fun making the video. If your not enjoying yourself your viewers will know when they watch.

    3. Be yourself. Make the videos about what interests you.

    4. Give it 110%.

    5. Make yourself known. You need to take every opportunity to spread your name out to others.

  • Sebastian Wolff the Expert replies: As a musician, it is important to know what a large percentage of YouTube visitors are interested in. YouTube's new Insight tool, featuring exact demographics and other statistics about video and viewers' .

  • Logan the Expert replies: Regularly create content, keep on subject, involve the audience by asking them to respond, mention your viewers in your videos, and build a website where your viewers can hang out and participate.

  • In your opinion, what is it that viewers of shows on YouTube really want to see?

  • Shahar Boyayan the Expert replies: Most of all they want to be entertained. Our show is about content and about a difficult subject: marketing a business. That is why we don't do much editing, shoot in different places and make jokes amongst ourselves

  • Christian Boyles the Expert replies: I feel that people want to see perfection. They enjoy seeing videos made by people that can't make things look perfect and have some sort of script they follow. That's probably the reason behind youtube stars Smosh, NigaHiga, Makemebad35, etc. Of course these aren't the only people that get views. There are ordinary people like us that get views by just placing some random revealing thumbnail. After all, due to the age of most of the audience there are

  • Sebastian Wolff the Expert replies: I'm unsure about trends on YouTube other than from a musician's standpoint. My target audience wants to see video game themes and movie themes performed on piano. What attracts them is the skill level of performances, originality, and general "oomph" that makes the arranged version similar to the original, but with it's own style.

  • Logan the Expert replies: They want genuine opinions and real people. They also want personality and interaction. They do not want to see a salesman talking about the newest electronics.

  • It's one thing to get subscribers and quite another to keep them interested in your channel. How have to managed to acheive that so well?

  • Shahar Boyayan the Expert replies: We keep the show fresh, sometimes in a studio, sometimes we visit some businesses. We bring guests too.

  • Michael Hoffman the Expert replies: Same as above.

  • Christian Boyles the Expert replies: I've asked them to check out my stuff and when they did they became a little more interested in my videos. Then I'd go to their videos, leave some nice honest comments on them and they'd read these comments, think, "OH! Hey, I remember this guy...I wonder if he's made any new videos." and I'd get an audience that kept coming back.

  • Sebastian Wolff the Expert replies: I upload videos that match the reason users subscribe. I try to regularly update my account with fresh content and keep up users' interest. By spacing videos apart, it raises users' interest when a new video is up.

  • Logan the Expert replies: We make videos all the time and we maintain an active forum at RazeTheWorld.

The videos cover all the newest games and gaming devices.

  • Please share the biggest secret to your success in getting substantial numbers of subscribers.

  • Shahar Boyayan the Expert replies: Participating in social networks like Facebook makes a big difference and promotes word-of-mouth marketing.

Also, we don't do much editing, if we make mistakes, we keep it, we are real.

  • Michael Hoffman the Expert replies: Consistent quality content of interest to a specific sub-group of YouTube visitors.

  • Christian Boyles the Expert replies: I just do my thing. Every now and then I get together with friends and I make a random video for the fun of it and I begin to spend many hours editing the videos in a crappy editor called windows movie maker.

  • Sebastian Wolff the Expert replies: I'm aware of what people want to see and hear performed on piano, follow current trends, and respond to users' requests.

  • Logan the Expert replies: There are tons of people online talking about electronics. Generally the videos are focused on the products. I make videos that are personality driven instead.

  • What was the key thing that you did, which was the turning point with your succss on YouTube?

  • Shahar Boyayan the Expert replies: Give 100% content. No sales pitch of any kind

  • Michael Hoffman the Expert replies: There is no key thing to YouTube success, but rather many things. First of all, you must define success. Views is not usually the currency that is good for anything but bragging rights. Better to get customers, or supporters.

The key to success with YouTube is being "viral" -- which means funny or provocative -- and at the same time being ON MESSAGE. Anyone can use sex or kittens to make a viral video. The hard part comes when you want to stay on your

  • business or organizational message.

  • about a week ago. If I make views I don't want it to be because of a thumbnail. I want it to be my talent and my appeal to the audience. I learned my lesson and I'm quickly becoming more and more popular on youtube.

  • Sebastian Wolff the Expert replies: Shortly after Square-Enix published a sequel to their hit PS2 game Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, I became highly interested in its music. I began to arrange and transcribe some of the songs and replicate them on piano. On August 18, 2006, I uploaded a medley of 20 self-arranged songs from both Kingdom Hearts I and II. The video quickly turned viral and at its peak averaged 10,000 views a day.

  • Logan the Expert replies: People like it when I am myself. I drop the corporate edge and the professionalism and relax. The videos became funnier and people began to connect with them on a more personal level.

  • Nice Video. Check out TubeViews (dotnet) If you need your video exposed, It has really helped me a bunch. Be blessed!
