As a kid I remember thumbing through a sci-do magazine that had stills from this movie as well as a brief synopsis. I was so stoked to see this and talked my dad to take me to see it . It may be hokey but man I thought it was a pretty cool movie for its time. Don't listen to the naysayers.... Rent this flick and, with no expectations, enjoy it for what it is.

I saw the advert in a mag as a kid and wanted to see it but never did. it looked awesome! grew up and never thought about it. went to work at universal studios Orlando and met a lot of actors....one of which is in this movie....Barry Cutler who plays a deputy. saw it online...loved it!

I remember this movie also, it was a big let down. Anyone seen or remember an old serial that came on tv Rocky Jones? It was designed around a space corps presentation. A couple of the characters were the professor and a space cadet name Biff and a woman but can't remember her name and the captain or commander was Rocky Jones.

i also used to go see him sing in NYC clubs like SNAFU and still remember a bit of some songs (Wo oh oh I got a rocket in my pocket; 'I got up ...this morning, I didnt take my pill...I feel nothing...deliverence")) and his shirtless self doing handstands on stage. Wish I could find recordings. And I saw him at the Village Gate in a play and opened and closed quickly called? Sun something? With whatshername? I have a program somewhere. This was on TV when I was a kid and we all found something, a pipe, cardboard shipping tube, rolled up poster board, pretty much anything, to shove our arms into and use as a laser cannon. A bunch of kids running around with tubes on their arms shouting "Bwing! Bwing!" Ahh, the memories.

I went with a friend to see this as a kid (we were well underage but no-one cared back then) and the trip back from the cinema was more fun than the film. Even at eight I knew this was bad- but cheesy fun. And loved those Aliens..

Even as a 14 year old, I knew this was pretty cheesy.
