  • i love your voice:)

  • Pirates Booty is SOOO good.. I swear..

  • Omg I just got those pirates booty puff things to day at cosco!!! I didn't even know they were good for u haha!

  • I love, love, love, love your earrings!!!! Where did you get them??

  • @spaceanduniverse27 I believe those were from Forever 21, under $5 :)

  • Recently I have come across some great chips from 'Food Should Taste Good' At CVostco (at least in Canada ) They have single bag portions of the multi-grain and sweet potato. They are really yummy and I can actually read all the ingredients! like they have flax and stuff in them as well! :) I don't feel guilty either

  • @HSVL Oooh, those sound interesting! I'll definitely head over to Costco this weekend and see if they're in stock! Thank you for the suggestions :)

  • Twin sister! :O

  • rae- i am over 40 now and was a tiny girl in my younger days but age and a few health problems have helped me to put on more than i would like. i appreciate the info on the healthly snacks because i am a snacker. i can't wait to try to skinny cow treats!

  • My Brothers friends mom is the Vice President of Pirate Booty! :)

  • @Beautygurlstar No way! That's awesome :)

  • Lol. im 5"1 and 107:D

  • Great video RAEview! I have been tweaking the way that I eat for almost a year now and I have to say I've done a lot better than I ever thought that I would. I have stopped "Dieting" and have done just as you said...just eat healthy and make it a lifestyle. I had a couple of Quesions for you, 1. Is regular homemade popped popcorn w/out salt & butter fattening? 2. Is Kool Aide fattening and is it better than drinking sodas? Is eating yellow rice 2-3 times a week too much and is it fattening? TY!

  • @spaceanduniverse27 Regular homemade popped popcorn is indeed healthier but if you only have popcorn several times a year like I do.. I would say it's safe to treat yourself to the store bough stuff ;) Kool Aid has a lot of sugar so I don't believe it's any better than soda. I love juice but it's so high in sugar that it can be worse than soda! Try to replace soda/juice/Kool Aid with water whenever possible :) And my sister eats rice at least 3 times a week and she's still very trim. Moderation!

  • have you tried luna bars? they have vitamins in them and come in smore's flavor and also lemon zest. yum ;) its at trader joe's and target

  • @DestinyLily234 I recently tried a Luna Bar because I received a coupon in the mail and they are pretty darn yummy!

  • Thanks for recommend these to me! I bought a MASSIVE bag of Pirate's Booty at Costco for 5 dollars, and now my family is hooked on it (: It's veeeerrrrrryyyyy addictive haha! Sadly my stores dont have Skinny Cow candy :(

  • hi!

chanel just came out with their new foundation Vitalumiere Hydra, i was just wondering if you could possibly do a review on it?

    THANK YOUU!!

  • for the record, i had no idea vege chips exists...much thanks....also adding fish oil to you regular diet, works amazingly well with weight maintainance

  • U have a twin sis :) ? !

I learn somehing new everyday <3

  • you are you soooo cuteee!

  • this video makes me hungry haha

  • Rae, this actually helped me a lot!

Especially the idea to put your chips in portions! :)

All your ideas were great! Thank you so much!

  • This was sooo helpful!!!

Thanks for putting this video up :)

  • OMG please tell me what you're wearing on your lips!!! GORGEOUS!!!! :)

  • After joining a new company with longer work hours, I started to eat much healthier and started exercising! The incentive was...my new coworkers said that I am lucky to be slim now, but to wait a few months and I'll start to see some belly fat from sitting all day long! Huge incentive I tell ya!

  • @StarsCafe LOL! My mother tells me to do crunches in my seat since I sit all day while editing and doing homework :) Just sit at the edge of your chair and do oblique crunches! Blast off that belly fat hehe

  • Very helpful! -3

  • twin sister O_O

  • your left eye is bigger than your right.. is this a result from your plastic surgery?

  • Hi Rae,

My question doesn't have anything to do with this video, I hope you don't mind...but, I was wondering if you have ever tried bb creams and whats your view on them.

  • @AZMDfierce889 BB creams are decent, depending on what you try. I prefer foundations but that's just my personal preference!

  • I am a believer eating as much as you want too!! LOL!!

  • I subbed!!! :)

  • @Princess8228 Thank you for subscribing!

  • Oh my gosh, here I am not even working out and eating junkfood -_- luckily I don't eat in excess and I do eat fruits and vegetables. Some guilty pleasures are so hard to give up! (milk chocolate, yummm)

  • @cjx3pooh Ooh, I love milk chocolate! I can't drink milk regularly since I'm lactose-intolerant but I like to treat myself to a glass sometimes :)

  • I love your makeup in here!!!

  • My mum just got me blue m&m's.. eating them the now.. yeeahh -_-...

on the plus side, i'm 5'1 too!

  • i'm enjoying the background music that you've been using in your recent videos :)

  • do you exercise/work out?

  • I like your video very much .. U r soo cute ..

  • @iMooni85 Thank you! :)

  • RAE-I love your videos! I have been running on a treadmil to tighten up my thighs, and I do about 2 miles a day 4-5 times a week. I have been loosing a little weight from eating healthier, so I've noticed it's becoming harder to run the 2 miles per day that makes me feel so good. What kind of food would you suggest me to have before I run to give me more energy?? <3

  • @amazingyummy2 I like to eat an apple before running because it doesn't weigh me down and it's full of Vitamin C! :)

  • for any energy/protein bars the amount of protein has to be in the double digits and the amount of sugar has to be in the single digit or else your just snacking on sugar that'll make you crash later. Also there's a really good book called Your Fat by Jay Co and its only 100 pages on how to eat right to loose weight or maintain weight. Also for people who've been doing the same workout for awhile switch it up or make it harder so that your body will loose more weight.

  • I've actually heard Veggie stix and Veggie chips are mostly just potato, with added tomato and spinach powder/flavour :/ They're not that much better for you than regular potato chips.

  • Hi Rae! I just wanted to let you know that I think you're one of the most considerate and knowledgeable gurus on youtube! I love that you take the time to respond to as many comments as you can! I'm sure all of us (including me!) REALLY REALLY appreciate your advice! <3

  • @fujifan23 Aw, thank you! I really do my best to respond to as many as possible!

  • what does 34-24-33 mean?

  • Skinny Cow is not found anywhere! only in some state :(

  • pirate booty is sooo good hahahaa

  • @jeeroket I know! Have you tried the other flavors??

  • @Pennylaneeeeee She makes a lot of them! :)

  • Oh no I just noticed all my typos, sorry! I was so excited to write you! LOL!

  • Rae! OMG we weight the same right now and practically the same measurment. I'm just a bit bigger on the hips. Hehehe! I found a SIZE buddie and it you pretty lady! So excited! OMG I love Skinny Cow too! I find them so addicting I can't eat just one packet. LOL!

  • @AprilAthena7 April, you are too sweet! Yay for size buddies!! I saw your wedding pictures and you looked radiant and so happy :)

  • You can find pirates booty at Trader joes ;] They also have the generic TJ brand!

  • Hi Rae, could you please do a review on the new Dior 3 color smoky palettes? thanks!

  • @mackiejurray Yes, I'm wearing the Khaki kit in the video :) I'll review it on my blog next week :)

  • hahah...i know this is random but I think it is hilarious that you state "please subscribe...It's FREE" =)

  • great video, lovely to see something a bit different on the channel, but still more of the same good advice :) I especially liked the end part since I totally agree that crash dieting is not the way to go. I'm 5'10 and a UK 16-18 (which I believe is a US 12-14?) and I always make sure to eat healthily and in moderation, and since I seem to stay the same size I've decided to just be happy with how I look and see the fun in fashion and makeup (which your channel has encouraged!) xx

  • @nenjen86 I'm glad to hear it! We shouldn't have to deprive ourselves to be thin :) Thank you for the support and all the best <3

  • Hi Rae. I have a problem that I don't know where I can post to ask you. So do you mind if I post it here?

Can you recommend me some brand and kind of eye cream that you think the best? Recenty, my eyes have had problems like dark circle and so many wrinkles on the under eyelid. The serious thing that the surrounding area and even my eye has dead cells and I can't get rid of them. I have used some moisture cream but I didn't have effect on me ;_; Please help me if you have any idea~~~~~

  • @lalaplanetxoxo You should use an exfoliator to slough away the dead skin cells first! I love Kate Somerville ExfoliKate and then you can try Estee Lauder's new Idealist product for the eyes. They are supposed to be very effective! Pick up a sample and see for yourself :)

  • love ur makeup here :)

  • i love how frank you are :) i think i'll start trying to snack healthier too, i realised the actual meals i eat are quite balanced but it's my in-between-meals and study-break snacking that's probably the problem. i think i'll go grab some other snack alternatives next time i hit the supermarket, thanks for your video and your tips!

  • @dotoriori I think that's how it is for a lot of us! Good luck <3

  • ahh..we have the same height ! XD

  • i love how this is real & legit for us living breathing human beings LOL ive been crash dieting since 6th grade and ironically think id be skinnier if my thoughts were not so friggin consumed by calories everyday -__-

  • @VIffleslove LOL "living breathing human beings" You are too funny! Crash dieting confuses your body so it's better to eat consistently ;)

  • a lot of my friends always yell at me because I'm 'dieting'. though I am trying to lose weight (I am on the skinnier side but I have a stomach - damn australian winter!), I don't withhold food from myself. I just eat healthier, like what you said :) so thank you for the encouragement :)

  • @panndha You're very welcome! Good luck with the rest of your winter ;)

  • i dont think adding water to oatmeal is the healthier alternative. milk would be as there is calcium whereas water has nothing besides no calories.

  • @7fsjay I'm mildly lactose intolerant so I avoid milk as much as possible

  • None of the product are available in the UK. :(

  • maybe its because you seem closer in this video, but your eye makeup looks awesome. what did you do? please do a tutorial :D (and make it close up) thanks!

  • @lahee Thank you! I used the fool-proof new Dior 3-color smoky kit in Khaki!

  • Thanks for making this video!! It's going to help me alot because I'm trying to lose weight but looking for a proper suitable direction so your words mean alot to me.

    Thank you <3

  • @TheSuperSweetness Just approach with a lifestyle outlook, not a 'must-lose-weight" direction and you'll be just fine! Good luck <3

  • did you ever had braces? :)

  • @icecrunchisnowy Yes, as a teenager :)

  • Thanks for these helpful tips Rae! I actually have a question about getting started with running: As an experienced cross-country runner, what advice would you give a beginner? I've heard some scary stuff about long-term, wear-and-tear types of injuries, like "splints" and joint pain, that plague runners. Have those issues happened to you? Any tips on avoiding them?! ^_^

  • @liiteratii I used to get shin splints but that's from shoes that aren't suited to your feet! I've gone through over 60 pairs and Nike trainers always work the best for me but it's a trial and error effort :) Also, make sure to stretch before and after your runs and you should be okay! The joint pain can be due to your weight and your running form so try to avoid running hunched over, keep the body straight! Good luck <3

  • pirates booty is the bomb!!!

  • I've learned diets do work, but people often think of diets as starvation, they never think that they should do exercise while on a diet.

Really, eat what you want, unless trying to lost weight then skip the candy and stuff, but do not stuff yourself,or fill yourself.Don't eat when it's time to eat,eat when you feel hungry. The important thing is to stop yourself from eating when you don't need to,or snacking.Exercise is vital, breakfast a must.

  • My GOD I have such a girl crush on you, so lovely and helpful!

  • omg ur so pretty

  • I am obsessed with GAINING WEIGHT!!!! Whaaaaa watching this video makes me hungry LOL!!!!!! Hahahaha!

  • lusting after the 3 couleur palettes- thumbs up for a tutorial!!!!!!

  • I love it when I notice at restaurants that a customer gets a really unhealthy meal and overeats with multiple appetizers and desert, but then they order a diet coke, thinking that's going to help!

  • I totally agree with you Rae!! =) I'm exactly the same....=)

  • Thanks for the info. Glad your videos aren't just about make up :-)

  • I should go shopping and see if we sell Skinny Cow here in Canada! I've seen them in many youtube videos.

Have you tried Snap pea Crisps? They are sooo yummy and addicting, and healthy, I love them!

P.S. I read somewhere a while ago that those Quaker instant oatmeal are actually packed with a lot of sugar, so don't eat them everyday

  • I loves sees candies clusters too the caramel one ;)

  • @kim3lise Mmmm!!! Yes <3

  • I like how realistic you are! I think it's funny how some people are under the impression that instead of eating a dinner meal and a dessert, they could just skip the meal and eat dessert, thinking that it's healthier. Wtf O.O

  • @Joxxy LOL I know what you mean. At the end of the day, the difference is that I think I've learned to approach food in a "make myself happy" kind of way! I love junk food and still eat candy but I eat the kind that's a little better for my waistline - compromise :) I don't want to be a health nut because I think that'd take the fun out of eating.. I love food too much for that to happen!

  • @RAEview Hehe I feel the same! I love food too much to go on a "real" diet! Instead, I just cut down on portions! :D

  • Hi Rae your makeup looks pretty here, what eyeshadow are you using?

  • @mochi51509 Dior's new Smoky 3-color palettes! You can always find a list of the make-up I'm wearing in the link provided, located in the description box :)

  • PLEASE make up tutorial :)))

  • can you do a daily vlog of the foods you eat?

  • thank you for this video!!! (:

  • I think milk would be a healthier choice for oatmeal since you get your calcium. And instead of using 2% milk, skim milk would be healthier. But it's just my opinion, but I think using milk would be better for those who don't get enough calcium. ^__^

  • @asianbejealous I'm mildly lactose intolerant so I can't drink milk often :) I buy Lactaid sometimes but I don't like the way it thickens the oatmeal!

  • Im eating a bag of lays bbq chips watching this and i feel really bad...... I really need to loose weight im 178lbs and im 5'5.

  • If you want to lose FAT and not muscle, it's not about calorie counting (although that is only a part to). Try looking up the Paleo Lifestyle. It changed my entire body composition and I am now a leaner, fitter muscular person! It's hard at first but you will never go back! The science behind it is also amazing

  • Now I'm hungry :(

  • "...i'm a believer in eating as much as you want"

    i second that! haha!! :D

  • hi rae! i just wanted to say - even though the skinny cow products are low in calories, if you read their ingredients... it's awful for you!! please stay away from that crap!

  • Hi Rae!!!

Well,Im a vegetarian and I never seem to get full.Any tips???

  • @tenzing101 I'm definitely not the person to ask, as I am not a vegetarian, but veggie burgers with whole grain bread/buns make me full!

  • you look so pretty today

  • can you do a tutorial on your go-to "smokey eye" tutorial?

  • U are not fat at all,, how many lbs are u ?

don't try to lose weight,,,,I LOVE yr body shape,

    :D

  • @raeview

I've been trying to eat healthier as well as exercise on a budget. What do you suggest? I am fourteen, & I want to be healthier.

  • @brittanylol4 You don't need to go to the gym to exercise :) Go for long jogs several times a week and jump rope daily. Then you can add push-ups and crunches to your regimen!

  • i love the veggie sticks and the captain booty popcorn chips! yum! And I love your makeup here! What are you wearing on your lower lash line?

  • can u do a tutorial for this look please?

  • Man...I feel obese when I see your stats. >< I'm your height and I weigh 115. Haha.

  • hi rae, this is completely off topic, but whats your favourite cheap fake lashes? i've tried darkness, but i find the band a bit too stiff. i want to try the 10 pack ones too, but i never know where i should buy them (i dont know if ebay is trustworthy enough since these things are going on my eye!)

  • @colourtomyworld I get the 10-packs from circlelens.au and they work really well for me! Otherwise, Ardell Wisipies are awesome, about $4 USD per pair!

  • @PBPraline Amen! I'm a firm believer that if you want to change the way you look, you first need to change your lifestyle!

  • lol i really wish you put this up yesterday, i was just at the store today looking for healthy snacks and didnt know what to grab! :)

  • Awesome video!! I love how you said that one should eat as much as he/she wants - portion control can make a huge difference, because when you eat smaller portions regularly you tend to not overeat since your stomach is used to the size of your portions and eating often during the day is very good - breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner :) keeps your stomach full and your metabolism going hehe I'm gonna have to try those pirate's booty chips they sound so yummy! Thanks for sharing with us <3

  • heyyyyyyyy beautiful! you look great! <3

  • I love what you said in this video :) practical! and I'm a believer of eating as much as you want as well XD I find that it's easier if I just eat a bunch of what I want to get over my craving, as opposed to eat a little at a time and still crave for it for a long time lol

  • THE 32-24-33 meaurements are in inches?

i have NEVER found out, and im desperaet to know LOL

i cant imagine you being big at all O_O you look so litle!

  • @yourloveli LOL Yes, in inches! And I'm not big! I'm petite but what I meant is that I'm not a twig that people oftentimes expect me to be :)

  • I think the skinny cow ice creams have high fructose corn syrup in them, which isn't the greatest, in my opinion (trying not to offend anyone)

  • oh no, i ate skittles and chips yesterday (a while bunch of chips b/c i didn't control my portions) and i ate two pop tarts today /:

Thanks so much for the tips! I'm going to try it out. Just wondering Do you work out still?

  • @lalabell5 Good luck :) I like to run and walk as much as possible! It's hard but you have to force yourself to get off the couch!!

  • less calories doesn't necessarily mean "healthier"

  • @Cuttiegirlsu True.. I never said that, though, did I? What I meant: if you're gorging on candy and chips, you should try healthier alternatives, which are usually less in calories!

  • I LOVE VEGGIE STIX! <3

  • @ohthatjas Woo hoo! <3

  • i loooove vitatops. they're a bit pricey, but they taste like real brownies.

  • The Skinny Cow Heavenly Crisp bars are absolutely AMAZING! I buy them all the time and I prefer them over anything else. I recently started to rethink how I eat and what I eat because diets DO NOT work and are not realistic for everyday regular life. When people used to ask me in the beginning "Are you on a diet?" and would always reply "No, I'm on a lifestyle change"

  • @PBPraline Awesome response!! :)

  • make-up tutorial!!!! I love your eyeshadow

  • omg im 5'1 too! just wondering what your shoe size is? because i'm like under a size 5.. and i cant find flats for my feet anywhere :S

  • @GlamourKillsTian I'm 5.5 to 6! I wish I could help but I'm not sure where they sell any sizes under a 5.5 :( Good luck!

  • @RAEview ah lucky youre at the smallest size most stores carry :P thanks anyways!

  • @GlamourKillsTian Yes, very true! I think you'd have the best luck asking someone like Jen (frmheadtotoe)! I know she wears under a 5 :)

  • @GlamourKillsTian I'm also 5'1. I think I saw size 4s and stuff on zappos

  • I love Skinny Cow!!

  • i'm liking how close you are to the camera >]

  • lol ur body proportions are like perfect. omg my gma used to buy skinny cow too!!!<3

  • @purpleplasticcup Good numbers on paper don't always translate to perfection in person ;) But yay, grandmothers who buy Skinny Cow! ^.^

  • @RAEview omg i cant believe u replied! lol i got sooo excited. you are very inspiring and one of my role models so its nice to see someone that gets so much youtube attention to reply..never happened! <33

  • @purpleplasticcup You're very welcome! I try to reply to as many comments as possible :)

  • I love RAEview's advices...they are all real and logic......Thank you Beautiful RAE!!

  • @andthisgirlislara Thank you! I'm glad you think so <3

  • Can you do this makeup tutorial? It's beautiful!

  • hahaha your snack options are by far the best i've heard! yummm the yummy cow snacks look delicious and pirate booty IS SO ADDICTING <3

  • @nozomix3 You must try Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches, if you've never tried them! I think they taste better than the regular ones and OMG yes, Pirate Booty is addicting!!

  • I really like this video because of what you say

  • Ok those are basically all my favorites lol with the exception of the veggie sticks (not really a fan) and the skinny crow's which I haven't tried yet. I love pirates booty and those were my two favorite flavers of oatmeal lol

  • You have the most flawless skin. I was wondering what foundation did you use in this video?

  • @sophistication021 All make-up is listed in link, located the description box! I mixed two foundations today :)

  • I once tried a 'diet' and I gained weight because I found it so stressful. Stress is another cause of weight gain, great vid Rae =) When it comes to weight lose I follow 2 simple rules 1. Don't eat it unless it's nutritional (i.e. no junk foods) 2. Eat when I'm hungry, stop when I'm full. And by that I mean, actually hungry, not when my mind is being greedy =) So I agree on the eat what you want, just make wiser choices about it!

  • 5'2 ft tall. and i weight 130 ish.. i am 1 years old. am i overweight? pls help. how much do i need to loose and how? :) i love this video. thanks ;)

  • Crash dieting is NEVER a good solution to permanent weight loss. Moderation for sure! Healthy food choices ftw! You look exceptionally flawless here Rae =]

  • I love these types of videos. One blog I saw recommended turkey pepperoni with string cheese. And then carrot chips and sour cream mixed with french onion dip mix as chips and dip.. That sounds good.

  • i like maple and brown sugar too!

  • @imshellyyy I think it's the best one! It's even better if you add banana slices :)

  • yummeh yummehs. i lovee pirates' booties

  • Looking so pretty Rae. I do eat yummy stuff too but in moderation and exercise regularly.

  • Hi, I really agree with your philosophy on dieting. I am 100 lbs overweight and that is not exaggerating but I find that every time I try dieting, even a reasonable and sensible diet such as weight watchers makes me obsessed with food because I am having to calculate points or add calories and I end up eating more than I would if I wasn't on a diet. The other side of this is that I truly do need to lose weight for my health and wellbeing so any tips you may have are greatly appreciated.

  • @MsPrettyClaudia Exactly! Start slowly and ease your way into a healthier lifestyle :) I wish you the best of luck <3

  • Hi Rae! Thx for keeping it real as always. I've seen those veggie chips @ Costco, but never bought it cause it's such a big bag.
