During this stop in Columbia, Mo., Biden was speaking before a large crowd when he decided to give special recognition to State Senator Chuck Graham. He rambled on about how long he has known Chuck and how well he knows him. Then he said (as you can see):
"Chuck, stand up, let the people see you," So either it was a gaffe or he was lying.
I searched around for a longer version of the clip and found one that showed that Biden wasn't even talking about the senator before he mentioned that he was there in the crowd.

Now, vice presidents are chosen to make the president look better, because no matter how much Bush was hated, who would have preferred Cheney? During this stop in Columbia, Mo., Biden was speaking before a large crowd when he decided to give special recognition to State Senator Chuck Graham. He rambled on about how long he has known Chuck and how well he knows him. Then he said (as you can see):
"Chuck, stand up, let the people see you," So either it was a gaffe or he was lying.

I searched around for a longer version of the clip and found one that showed that Biden wasn't even talking about the senator before he mentioned that he was there in the crowd.
