I believe it was supposed to be released as that, In Japan it was released as that despite being titled Super Mario World. In America and Europe it was released as Super Mario World

Even though i had it at home, i thought it would be cool to play away from home and i noticed a couple of things that i would now (in my adulthood) consider "beta" things. The logo on the cartridge as well as in the title screen in the game that read "Super Mario Bros 4" was one of them
