  • These guys know BBQ!!!

  • You smell that? it smells GUD!

  • MMMMMM, ummmmmmlotsa lovely burrrrned cheeekun!!

  • What's the significance of using eggs? Does it do something flavor or texture related?

  • Y'all starvin me to death!

  • I watched your vid and at the same time I eat some grilled chicken from yesterday's bbq party :D I recomand you guys try Romanian sausages (mititei ) on the grill !

  • @selo2010 Well I'm afraid they will have a hard time finding any there. Alternatively, they could get some "cevapi" from a Polish store, but it ain't the same. Maybe we should make a video response and show them how to make "mititei" on the grill.

  • I find chicken one of the hardest things to grill/smoke. What are some of your techniques to cook all that chicken thoroughly?

  • I'm surprised it took them 50 minutes to have it done, when he has videos where steaks take much shorter time to grill.

  • @dcentral 1st, they cooked it indirect, which takes a little longer, but makes the meat more tender and juicy. 2nd, steaks take less time, because they aren't as thick and you don't have to cook them all the way. Git r done.

  • Hey guys I'm wondering if you have a guide or a FAQ for a starting guy. I want to know everything that you guys use, the grill, the smoker, the knife, the utensils, the brands of the ingredients you use, etc.

Everything you use looks excellent and I want to know what exactly they are.

  • @TheRealFruitGiGz They have enough to feed a Russian army, its China's army no one can feed.

  • Great technique. Make sure to boil the marinade if you use it as a mop lest you risk food poisoning. Better yet: put some marinade aside to use as a mop.

  • I have never seen anyone use egg in marinade. Whats the point it it.

  • @Kelash00 same reason you use it on the top of a pie, to make it look shiny

  • Daaaamn ...That Smells............GoooooD :P

  • thanks bbq pit boys you guys are what a man should be

  • write on youtube poulet mankal and u will see the video of the best chiken

  • Do you guys know the reason for the egg in the marination? And can we just leave it out or is it required?

  • Pit Boyz' BBQ rulez =DDD

  • If you swap out the seasoning in this recipe and use poultry seasoning and salt, you have what is known as "Cornell Chicken", which has been a summertime favorite here in upstate NY since the 50's. Traditionally, you would use spit "broiler" chickens (1 to 11/2 lbs), cooked over an open pit, approx 24" off the coals. If you haven't, you need to try this. Good stuff. Think I'll try the Pitboys version before the snow starts falling.

  • thank you boys, this is the 'something different' I was hoping to find. Got the chicken soaking up the sauce now and ready to put on the fire. I believe in this recipe, therefore I follow directions. Using de-boned thighs so I expect the grilling time will be cut in half or more...

  • I shoulda been doing chicken this way a long time ago really all my grilling. I should have added the step of seering in the juices a long time ago

  • i had a little over 3 pounds and split the recipe in half... and it was awsome... jus added a lil black pepper before grillin.....awsome stuff

  • bcuz of u guys, I've BBQ'd at least 3 times this week. The catch is i get off at 1130pm and by 12am, something is guaranteed to be on the grill. I am inspired by u guyz, good lookin'!

  • You guys rock, thanks for posting your vids !!

  • Family will love you!! Thanks BBQ pit boys!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WARNING ...By Watching these videos it May cause drooling =)~

  • You think the coals might be 'right' after four hours of marinading. I like the egg marinade and I would marinade overnight. Looks good....try Bok Choy grilled with this,...its great.

  • Made this last weekend. The vinegar was a little in front of the other flavors, so I think next time I'll try red wine vinegar, and one cup instead of two. I added some Montreal steak seasoning and lemon pepper right after taking it out of the marinade, as well. My wife and daughter liked it, and they're picky eaters. Thanks for a great series, Boys!

  • I love BBQ, I dont care what everyone says but I love that BBQ stuff. Everything BBQ. Ribs, Chicken, Beef, Steaks, Duck, Turkey, Rabbit, Lamb, Goat, Fish, Squid, Shrimp, Scallops, Oysters, Cat, Dog, Snakes, Raccoons, Monkeys, Donkeys, etc. WTF???? Ooooppppsss Sorry, I got carried away. I just heard the horse in the background. Maybe he's next on the BBQ. LOL.

  • The speaker is cool, but he's no Justin Wilson....I GUARANTEE...

  • I am making some of this as I type this, and g'dam does it smell good!!!!

  • Another awesome video! I cant believe people actually give you guys negative feedback. Some people just dont know good BBQ when they see it ;)

  • @fredthemasterkiller agreed. I hate when people say "eww...thats burnt".....idiots. Its grilled chicken not roasted

  • you guys done made hungry, thanks for all the great tips.

  • I wish bbqpitboys was my mom... youtube smells good.

  • I'm gonna mix it up a little.Gonna use this marinade for the Bacon cheese wings, and see how it turns out. Gonna shoot for a 24 hr marinade time.

  • tle lector is realy annoying....

  • you sound a little subdued in this vid man.

  • @tamatexas

sure they do - the dude with the glasses spills raw chicken on to the board, wipes it all over with a paper napkin, then later puts the knife & fork on the board. Anyone for salmonella?

  • which chicken rub did you use on this?

  • damn!!!!!!!!

All you do is a magic idea.

And by the way, the soud is great men, never change.

  • Simplicity at its best! Awsome tasting.....

  • How many videos have you done........you need a new sound guy ! !

  • oi oi mate put some meat on bbq lol.

great video i enjoy watching them:)

  • Awesome method! got perfect result.

  • could i marinate wings over night too

  • nice video guys

  • Love the voice, love the video. Really done professional. Good work guys.

  • В РОССИИ 12 11 ЧАСОВ НОЧИ

  • awesomest voice ever...........

  • Can you use olive oil instead of Vegetable oil?

  • @silverwolfangel olive oil can leave a bitter taste, but yes, you can.

  • 5:35 MMMMM MAN this is GOOD

  • I'm wondering if I can use this grilling method without the skin on the chicken. I'm assuming it would take less time to grill.

  • hey georgiagirl816, keep the skin on to help keep the chicken moist during the que. Remove the skin before serving if you need to....

  • Thanks...only thing is that all the flavor remains on the skin, so if we remove it, we also remove the flavor. I'm thinking of searing the chicken, then placing it in a big foil packet to act as "the skin". Thanks for your comment, though!

  • WithOUT the skin may probably dry the meat out too much...if you dont eat the skin, thats fine, but I would suggest leaving it on for the grilling process

  • i just luv their simple ways of cooking, i've watched so many of their videos and it's just awesome... don't ever stop making videos guys!!

  • my moma is a bbq chicken

  • These videos just make you feel GOOD! :D

  • .....chicken was burned...nobody likes burnt chicken

  • Hey dufus, your not comparing apples to apples. Grilled chicken and gassed chicken cannot be labeled in the same class. You want quick fast food chicken that makes a turd, go gas. You want sometin that makes your pants wet in a good way, you go with the charcoal chicken for sure. The Time is well worth it. Just my opinion.

  • 50 minutes seems a bit too long for chicken breasts if your using a gas grill...Around 4-5 minutes each side in medium high does the trick...very tender and juicy....I like coals, but for feeding a entire group...Chicken breast this way would take too long

  • even on a gas grill useing indirect heat takes about 40minutes with the pit temp around 350-360 low and slow is always best for any grill thats BBQ=) and the chicken breast does take alittle longer however placing them closer to the fire side of pit works well...now let's all get to grillin=) peaceout!

  • amazing grace played in piano in the background! wow that made the video.

    THEY TOOK OUR JOBS!

  • sorry I think you miss the point of searing

40-45 minute off coal cooking will not cook that chicken cus the skin is burnt, is that what your trying to convince people of?

your insane to even think that let alone point it out

  • i was eating bbq chicken then i got the idea to search a video about cuz it's soo good.

  • It doesn't really matter if the color is a little dark, what matters is that the BBQ Pit Boys understand how to teach the proper technique to make awesome grilled chicken again and again. Thanks Boys, you made me a better cook and a better man too!

  • @ticogringo77 AAAAACTUALLY (just felt like saying it like that), but yeah some marinades, rubs, toppings, sauces, etc... come out better as "Chard" especially as long as the meat inside maintains its moisture, youre forming a lining to hold the juices and marinaded flavor inside, so the heat and steam forms to cook it, and as long as the char has a flavor that lends itself good to the charring its an awesome taste and texture

  • @Berialavrenti

That is called 'Searing'! If you notice after they seared the chicken it was cooked for 40minutes. Still think it is raw?!

  • Its ok! This guy has never seen a BBQ before and has no idea what 'searing' is!

  • mmmmm gooooooooooddd

  • hey can you tell me where i can get one of those shirts?

  • goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooodddddddd

  • messed up the taste

  • it has to char and burn to be any good

  • Nice, i subbed cause I am a Grill Chef and I like your style!

  • You can use the same marinade as a finishing mop sauce? Shouldn't they be different?

  • Considering the fear of salmonella poisoning, that would probably be the most wisest of decisions. However, since it is on contact-heat which would normally kill most bacterias and diseases, then there shouldn't be much worry about it. Of course, if you were in the restaurant business and tried to pull this off on your customers, you'd have some serious fines and felonies to answer to xP
