4wd is better for speed runs. more traction when taking off. 2wd likes to wheelie alot. check out one of my mini t vids. that is 2wd. i cant really open it up because it gets too out of control.

Thanks! ou can find them on ebay or your local hobbie shop. They run new for around $160. but not going this fast. Used with this same set-up will run you around $230 - $250.

Hey! Really awesome cars. Could you answer my questions. I either want a tea, associated rc18r or 1/10 touring road rc, which one would you recommend? I'm looking for fastest topspeed. Is it worth spemding the time and money for upgrades for the team associated rc18r, becassue thats what i'm leaning more towards but i want it to go fast. Thanks

go for the rc18r, its smaller and parts are cheaper and it could go 85mph with some money in it.
