What he is talking about he being totally relaxed and loose and calm and gentle in the body and of course smooth gentle foot work helps
much of this is breath work and being relaxed totally

But yeah I get it ,you want to get past the him and I concept when I use the word Opponent.THat is an interesting concept.I use that word(opponent) out of lack for a better word.We have to be careful of words that takes on so many different meanings to each one of us but then again explain how I am being anti-aikido or anti anything for that matter.
