    encore!

    wow!

  • Excellent performance. I have not enjoyed piano playing such as this for a long time. This was great music, played by a professional that indeed deserves applause. Thank you for your skill.

  • this is how piano is supposed to be played. all these fake-ass pianists now a days. does anyone else hear fats waller in this?

  • @JamesPriceJohnson Yes I do! I was just thinking that actually. Not sure what you mean by 'fake-ass pianists' though? Playing the piano is not something you can cheat like singing.

  • I'm bordering on saying this is the best video I have ever seen on Youtube. If not the top it's in my top two.

  • So clear style!!!

  • I just realized I've forgotten to leave my comment even

though I'm featuring this link on my currently featured

  • Excellent!

Look at those dampers inside the piano: this is a master of the pedal, awfully difficult to apply so well in stride piano.

  • Smooth and well played! I call the first few minutes of this song "MILKIN it." You get what I mean, Ihope? Thanks for sharing from an old ragtime pianist in Mt.Carmel IL.

  • niiice!

  • Scrumptous music!

    Beautiful Alex!

  • ps do you know zoltan zorandy ?

  • naughty boy you've been copying art tatum , lol ! . love ralph sutton too

  • Excellent arrangement and wonderfully played. Is this arrangement available on sheet music?

  • Not that I'm aware of. I transcribed it off of a recording.

  • Excellent job. I think there would be a world of thankful pianist if you would publish some of your transcriptions.

  • I'm sure there would be copyright issues...Anyhow, it's a great learning experience to transcribe it yourself.

  • Very true,I've found any piece that I took the time to work out my own arrangement stay with me years longer than something I learned from sheet music. Keep up the work, your talent needs to be shared.

  • Easy listening, and so enjoyable,,,A bit predictable, (heard a very similar arrangement) but nonetheless, GOOD!!

  • Hey, this guy plays like Ralph Sutton, but 100 times better!

  • Musicality at its best!

  • Very Nice.Thanks for posting.
