@1araCr0ft But I checked and I am not. I was able to pick shotgun shells fine but then after picking up the first shotgun... I couldn't anymore.

@xoxmarshaxox Maybe you've used the shotgun but didn't reload. You're allowed to carry 32 shells plus 8 more (loaded on the shotgun). If you fire 2 shots and don't reload you'll have a total of 38 shells with you, but you won't be allowed to pick up more. If that's not the case, then it must be a bug, one that never happened to me.

It is not necessary to kill most creatures, not only here, but throughout the game. I guess I felt like shooting something... :-)

Well, doing it this way implies you have a good understanding of how the grapple works - you can not leave the grapple at the highest point or she won't have enough forward motion to reach the platform ahead.

You can do it the longer way though: all you need to do is climb down to that dirt-covered area in the bottom, then drag the 2 platforms available to make a path for you to jump from the central platform to the door you're trying to reach.

You can also do it with just 1 of the platforms but it's somewhat harder to get right.

@1araCr0ft what if when you first get into the painted floor room, and the boulder rolls and crushes the floor but you don't push/pull both towers at that point? Can you somehow go back or can you just do it the way you did? But when I replay this part I always come out a different doorway not the one you did. Is there any other way to get through this part of the level? playing on XBox 360

@FrdBr01 Not sure I understand what you mean but no matter what you do (or what order you do it in), the towers will still be available.

Can't say for sure. Somewhere around 6 hours. Despite my efforts I still missed a couple of items.

Those 6hrs plus something do not include the manor of course. And I played the manor first, which was a decision that worked to my advantage because by the time I picked up the main game wall runs and running wall jumps were not a problem anymore.

6 to 7 hours but it's not 100% completion - some relics and artifacts missing and that time doesn't include the manor either... ;)

Let me put it this way then: TR3 was the game that took me longer to complete - that includes finding every item and so on...

As for TRU: no I don't. It's too easy, too obvious, too boring, and has no replay value whatsoever. Got uninstalled 2 weeks after I bought it and it's still stashed away. My guess is it will stay that way for a long long time...

From the new series it's definitely TRA. Easy but entertaining nevertheless.

Considering all games TR3 would be my pick since it was the hardest for me.

I hated doing this bit for the first time because when you walk round them corners the dinoursers jump out at you and it made me jump, great walkthrough 5 stars.

That's the way it's meant to be though. In the old games enemies will jump at you out of nowhere.

thanks a bunch for this :D been really helpful, i have a question, how do you change outfits? i completed the first 3 levels and got all the relics and artifacts. before continuing to the next level, i quit and went to the costume bit but it wouldnt let me choose a costume, i could only look at the ones ive got so far. can you help me?

You can only wear any of the costumes you have unlocked when replaying levels, not while doing the full run.

The only reason I'm wearing a custom outfit on these videos is because I'm using a mod, otherwise I would be wearing the default outfit since this is a new profile.

yeah. once i stopped playing from when i got stuck, i forgot how fun this game had been. i never did have a strong amount of patience..... how do you go through this so smoothly? do you play the level a couple of times first?

No need to. I've played the whole thing enough times to know my way around. It's my favorite TR game in years.

is it better than underworld? cuz i was gonna look into it more once i was finished with anniversary. my uncle and cousin also want to know about it because they came over and played it once and fell in love with the game....

That depends on what matters to you the most. To me it is far better than TRU. They're not even on the same league. TRU has better graphics but TRA is better in every single aspect of gameplay. It also has replay value while TRU looks like it was built to rent.

From the new series TRA is the only game that recaptures some of the original spirit of TR. TRU and TRL are basically site seeing and little more. Quick comparison: Obelisk of Khamoon(you'll get there) has more traps than the whole TRU.

okay. alright. thanks. i was wondering about the difference between them. your really a big help when it comes to TR. my brother was the one who got me interested in it. my parents bought me an xbox 360 for christmas so my brother got me TRA. started playing it and loved it.
