more snow is actually caused by "global warming", because snow is merely a form of precipitation, and as the earth gets warmer, the ice in the poles melts, increasing the sea level, increasing the amount of water used in the water cycle, therefore increasing the amount of precipitation as the outcome of the whole process, global warming is present, don't be ignorant and say it isn't; whether humans are the cause of this or not.

Not trying to say that isn't a lot relative to the norm for the area. But it isn't enough to shut down the whole coast. It takes at least a foot to close schools in Toronto, and that usually does nothing to workers. The last storm that got this much publicity in Canada was the Montreal ice storm in the 90's. That required the military coming in, power outages to most of Quebec and a bit of the northern states, (cuz you get a lot of power from us) and the total shutdown of the city.
I hope you understand what global warming is. It is really about climate change, and we have here, with snowmageddon, a good example of it :P I do agree with you're 9/11 statement though.

Global warming is the wrong term. Climate change is the correct term.
Just because it isn't hot does not mean climate change isn't occurring.
Temperature and precipitation are NOT the only factors of the climate.
In fact, many parts of the world may get colder, while other parts get warmer.
