These guys are so good, I almost can't stand it. Jesus, I mean, Jeamanee or whatever---you just can't hold them down. They're gonna come back and come back and then come back again, (in my opinion not just because they've got a great core group, but because they keep bringing in top quality musicians to replace others who have gon on to other endeavors. I wonder if the first producer "almost had a heart attack" when he first "checked these guys out" on "audition day, way back when" . Marc.

why cant bands now these days make music like this? i was born in 1990 and i hardly listen to the "new" stuff of today. my dad brought me up right on this music and i just hope that me and my band (when it gets assembled) can start a revolution of resurgence of this music because it is the greatest kind of music that will ever be created. LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL!!!!

@CountLollo Thanks man I totally agree. I love both versions of the Doobies and I strugle with arguments about it. I am a semi pro guitar guitar player who has done most of the earlier stuff in bands. Taking it to the Streets was brilliant and Living on the Fault Line was very underated. Minute By Minute was absolutely sublimely brilliant. But I think after that they became Mike's backing band sorrry.

The Captain and Me remains the album with the best songs but "Vices and Habits" is the best

I have to two Doobies concerts and they have been the best as far as entertainment. They rework and rearrange their songs and music to present the old tunes in a lively manner. I never grow tired of listening to their music. Continue to rock to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
