As the Shenmue fan that I am, I'd say the Yakuza series is better than Shenmue in every way. Although Shenmue 3 would definitely be on my most wanted list if it ever comes out
I think re-making Shenmue 1 and 2 for the 360 and PS3 would get people interested in the games again therefore giving Sega enough money to make Shenmue 3.
@AlexKidd1922 that dream meant that when the cherry blossoms fall (April/May) the Dragon will descend upon you (Lan-Di will come for you) and that you should hurry (finish your game)
I bet if a pot was accumulated, and every Shenmue fan paid $20 each, then donate it to SEGA, but make them sign a contract that they will contribute the money to Shenmue III, it would come out in no time.
Please come Shenmue III, I'm starting to lose hope for it coming out!
The only reason they're not making Shenmue 3 is because they don't want to fork out the likes of $60 million for a game that won't sell well.
It was only down to bad marketing, advertisement and putting the first game on a console that had no strong support, and faded out over time. Pity as it suited the Dreamcast finely.
@Cena60793 It's been about 11 years since Shenmue made it's debut. I think more people know about it now than in '99/2000. There's lots of people these days who buy a used Dreamcast cheap just to play Shenmue. I think if Sega released it on the PS3 and 360, and maybe even the Wii, it wouldl sell better than the last two did. I would definitely pay $75 for Shenmue III and I'm sure a lot of other people would too!

This is in April-May so I wonder at one point does he realise and come for Ryo? After the scene in Kowloon, he knows Ryo is following him. Maybe Ryo is going to be used by the Chiyoumen to do their dirty work.

I've never gotten this ending. I think I've only beaten the game once but I had no intention of ever seeking it out.
Too tedious anyway to fail day in and out when the game's greatest strength is the numerous ways you can blow your time away.
