Dude, I have a really hard time controlling my feet when I play because I play 4 notes all even and then I like play one note early and it gets messed up, any tips on how to fix this?
hey dude, could you help me please? i have cobras and i can't get them equal no matter what i do! please help me! do you lube them? if so what do you use to do so and what settings do you use? thanks alot man and nice video (:
@Mirozenx To make them equal, push both the beaters against the bass drum head and hold them there. Then let them both go at the exact same time, the beaters should go back and forth together for a couple seconds. If they go together then they are well in balance, but if one beater is moving back and forth faster than the other than that one needs to be adjusted. Hope this helps(:
Hey I can play fast, and can play double and triples pretty well, but when i get up to a faster speed I lose foot power. Almost like i cant hit the bass drum as hard as when playing slow, so how can I gain power at higher speeds? Any tips, advice, or practice ideas? And would doing quads slow to fast help get more power out of my roll???
@KingQuickscoping Thats completely natural, you cant have the bass drum be as loud as it at normal slow speeds. Thats why all the drummers that can hit 260+ use triggers because the sounds not loud enough without them. So theres nothing wrong, just keep practicing it will become a little louder(:
Wow bruh that was the most easily understandable doubles bass explanation I've ever heard. Great tips man I'm more of hip hop r&b n gospel type of style (think Aaoron Spears) but I'll play rock on occasion if I like the groove n the song. I'm still recently new to the double bass n what makes this video even better is u have Cobra Power Glide JUST LIKE ME!! That's what's up! Now I got a better idea of how to use these things XD!!
It's scary me and you play the same. AND you have the double pedals i want AND you have the china i want. I like the way you explained this, you don't try to sound technical or give these crazy explanations.
@On9IsMe Yes i have been self taught with no help from anyone, i figured it all out by myself (: And if you would really like i could help you with some basics in drumming if you would like! Would you like me too make a video of the basic beats, fills, tempos and everything for starters because i could easily do that for you if that would help, let me know (:
If you have iron cobras (i cant tell) but they have a spring under the pedal so it bounces up easier. That could explain what you were talking about with the pedal moving itself. :)

@ozzywilder I personally dont own longboard but that is why they are such good pedals for speed is because the footboard is very long so you have a very large sweet spot! So yes i believe it would work except possibly be much better than regular pedals :)
@ 1:29 make sure to practice this with both feet or your dominant foot (usually the right foot) will be way stronger than your other one and unintentional accents will become a problem. also it stinks to have one foot that's really fast while the other's pretty slow.
@metalsk8ter14 Thats a problem i have! If both my feet could go as fast as my right foot i would probably be hitting at least 200 bpm maybe 210 haha ;P But i work on my one foot too much! So everyone who read metalsk8ter14's comment they are right!
how you got your spring tension set???

the reason why it feels like the foot board is moving not your ankle is because of the Cobra Coil Tama put in the Iron Cobra's and Speed Cobra's
