  • @eduard2007mia your welcome, denada.

  • loved your pp video presentation :)

    Love your accent too. Barbados????

from a new bajan subbie :)

  • @ILoveToScrub thank you, Im from the USA

  • the knot out is SUPER CUTE

  • @BiGTyMeDyMe thank you

  • i wish i could do bantu knots like that ur edges are growing in a lot too

  • @mizzannie001 thank you, for the bantu knot, I used nina pruitt's method. Her username on Youtube is: ninapruitt. I hope this helps! Im using different products on my edges now, I need to update everything, my camera is acting ridiculous, I may have to get another one.

  • @kthename08 what kind of products are you using my edges had fell out before because of sew ins and me not really paying attention to them they grew back thank god i used MN like almost everyday and they grew back this was like a year ago

  • @mizzannie001 I use a product from my stylist's product line, combined with jamaican black castor oil. I mix it together in an applicator bottle to make it easier to apply to my scalp.

  • lye relaxers are better for your hair, and dont get your hair bone straight, as no lye relaxers do.

  • how much does it cost for a corrective relaxer??

  • @MissDundada93 it depends on the stylist.

  • @kthename08: ok..are you suspposed to use a lye relaxer to correct a no lye realxer..or just go over it with the same relaxer??

  • @MissDundada93 the silk elements I showed here is a lye relaxer. The relaxer my old stylist used (I have a new one since this video) was also a lye. I gave my hair 8+ weeks before I got a corrective done at the salon. If it doesn't take, you should wait at least 6 or more weeks, to give your hair a break and to let some more new growth come in. The only downside is you'll have more new growth while you wait but hopefully the next retouch would take.

  • @kthename08 thanksss:]

  • @MissDundada93 your welcome

  • I believe that silk Elements is for those of us that are natural but just want to loosen the curls a bit. it's popping up on lots of natural alternative sites. I don't think it's meant for the bone straight looks

  • Ur bantu knot out was so pretty! I thought it was a roller set! I sooo get u on the thin hairlne I have a fine grade of hair&my hairline has been thin since b4 I can remember I'm also working on filling them in some I heart ur optimism! :)

  • @ladydonna773 thank you, every bantu knot out is an adventure, sometimes they don't come out so hot. They have a mind of their own when its get ready. Im using a product from my stylist (I have a new stylist now, need to update) and some jamaican black castor oil on my edges to finish growing them in.

  • Thanks so much for sharing I self-relaxed after 19 weeks post BIG MISTAKE and the results are RIDICULOUS I'm sooo underprocessed I usually let my sister do it I don't know what I was thinking....

  • its ok, that can be fixed. I just got my corrective today, and Im happy with the results. Your welcome, sometimes things don't go as planned!

  • I like the PowerPoint presentation. The bantu knot out is very pretty!

  • thank you! I was gonna leave the vid as it was and not read but then I thought, they don't wanna sit there and read my long paragraphs so I read it out. I love bantu knot outs, they last a while if you comb the shedding hair out and retwist it when necessary.

  • GIRL! im with u on the Scurl. lol it is heaven sent

  • @RobynWho yes lawd, I love it. I love how it keeps my hair moisturized all day, especially my ends. If I use my s curl to moisturize that day, I don't even have to seal, the moisture from the s curl itself stays. Im just glad I stopped sleeping on s curl and finally tried it.

  • Greta vid girl! That Mango butter is the last thing on my wish list. I just purchased a few Carols Daughter products and they are working great as of now. Love the bantu results! Really curly girl!

  • thank you! I've been using my mango butter for years. I've been on Carol's Daughter website a few times but didn't order anything. Im glad her products are working for you though. Thank you, I liked it too. I did more bantus this time, so it came out a little curlier.

  • Hi kthename08, When you say you deep condition with a mixture of moisture and protein to keep your two textures strong what is it that you use?

  • I use my Aphogee Keratin 2 minute reconstructor (which is a protein conditioner) and my Elasta QP Intense Fortifying Conditioner (a moisturizing deep conditioner). I mix both of these together in my mixing bowl with an oil or oils of my choice. Applying with my hands or applicator brush, and putting on a shower cap. I let it sit for 25-30 minutes.

  • Thanks .. I'm going to try this!

  • your welcome, I hope it works for you.
