The story is great. The weapons are great, the characters are great. Yet they somehow managed to fuck the whole game up with bugs, glitches and really fucked up weapon animations... The engine they use is the main problem yet they don't fucking burn it and use something different. I hope Fallout 4 will use the new engine they used in Skyrim. That one was at least more stable

In New Vegas, "Bloody Mess" is a trait, not a perk. It was a perk in Fallout 3 (it also upped damage you dealt). While Bloody Mess is basically just for looks, most traits have benefits and drawbacks, while perks generally only have benefits (or benefits that vastly outweigh the drawbacks).
