How do you beat an under tow and a rip current if your not really a good swimmer? Because I almost got caught in one by jumping off the pier and I got on the lader just on time before it dragged me under.. and I'm not a really good swimmer so I would like to know how to?

just got caught in one yesterday with about 5 other people .....nothing short of terrifying...Everyone panicked and swam towards shore(bad mistake).This just saps all your energy...........Thank you all lifeguards and surfers that came to our aid...30 seconds to a minute more and I would have certainly drowned...

wow once i was in rhode island and we were at the beach and there were liek rip currents and we left the beach to go do other stuff then later that night we went bac to r hotel room and on the news it said that some boy died in a rip current earlier that day at the beach we were at but we didnt see it cuz it happened a while after we left but yeah still scary im not sure if they ever found his body

Thanks for the video, as I've seen these 'things' for so many years when I used to visit the beach, but had no idea what they were until now. So many 'deadly' accidents, perhaps more films showing persons how to get 'out of them', should be shown as a yearly thing now.
