Watercolor Pencils + Stamping

Hi, I am wanting to add color to a black ink stamp like this, then add the packaging tape to make a sticker. Would you use water color for something like that or something else? Help Please!

The lift up blob of color you get when finishing a section, is real easy to fix and still look blended, if you dry your brush like you did to go back and try to blend that extra white out, place just the tip of your towel dryed brush in the paint blob for lack of a better word,the tip and brush will act like a vaccum and pick that extra color back up and leave your pick up point nice and cleanly blended like the rest of your petals. Hope this was helpful to someone.=)

Thanks for the tips. I did purchase the water color pencils and brush, but then realized that I need special paper, which I got, but I have not tried to stamp anything yet..... UNTIL NOW!! THANKS SO MUCH!!
