@JoyceJennings First I muted the strings with my left hand. Then I chose two spots to hit with my right hand. I found that near the bridge pickup it makes a bassy sound and the higher frets make a higher pitched sound for the "snare drum" part
Crazy sound ,good work on the tones......What a solo your a ray of hope for musicians like me who stick to what they like and not get forced onto the bandwagon called "metal"......
i really dont mean to come on here and be an asshole. but i also dont believe in keeping my opinions to myself just because it may make someone else offended.
on to my point- that is some of the worst recorder playing i've ever heard. take a lesson dude. Keep up the practice, and keep posting videos. you're bound to improve. i will now subscribe and cheer you on, especially if i notice better playing.
@saxyhugs opinions ARE like a**holes...ha ha. Anways, I checked out your channel...nothing there. Are you a musician?..Sax perhaps? The fact is I KNOW I'm an amateur recorder player and making these vids is just a fun hobby. Thanks for the sub
Wow, another cool video, man! I'm not a native English speaker and I had no idea what a tenor recorder was.. so I wasn't really expecting it, but that part was awesome! And now I say: there's not enough tenor recorder in postrock-shoegaze-drone-atmospheric... well yeah, however we label the genres :) Great work!

Bad recorder playing? It wasn't even meant to be seriously amazing, I found it a perfect addition to the jam as it added a new level of atmosphere.
Really great stuff, man. Wish I had equipment like this. :) Cheers!
