One is vlach, one is hungarian, one is royal, and one is Cuman. Bela Bartók collected many slovak, magyar,or romanian folksongs. Double cross is slavic christian symbol older than Hungary. Slovak language is slavic language. I can talk to Czech, Polak, Serbian, Croatian, Russian, Slovenian, or Ukrajinian, everyone understand me. Slovaks have stolen everything, also you brain... :-)

@zeib10 - you don't know history. We Romanians have taken some Hungarian territories from Hungary. Hungary was a Kingdom till 1944 and today Hungary is the same but noz a kingdom. Romania also was a kingdom till 1944. The durty Russians have moved the king away. Slovaks were ruled by Czechs till 1938 and after 1944 returned under Czechs.
I, myself am a Hungarian, and I think this anthem is quite nice. Don't know about the preceding events of this song's history, though.
Also, I know that Slovaks don't like us and we don't like them (although I have no problem with them), but IMO, it's not the right place to be arguing about which country is better or whatever -as for me, people who write comments in such a primitive and offensive way, are so pathetic. Bela Bartók collected many slovak, magyar,or romanian folksongs. Double cross is slavic christian symbol older than Hungary. Slovak language is slavic language. @zeib10 - you don't know history. We Romanians have taken some Hungarian territories from Hungary. Hungary was a Kingdom till 1944 and today Hungary is the same but noz a kingdom. Romania also was a kingdom till 1944. The durty Russians have moved the king away. Slovaks were ruled by Czechs till 1938 and after 1944 returned under Czechs.

I, myself am a Hungarian, and I think this anthem is quite nice. Don't know about the preceding events of this song's history, though.
Also, I know that Slovaks don't like us and we don't like them (although I have no problem with them), but IMO, it's not the right place to be arguing about which country is better or whatever -as for me, people who write comments in such a primitive and offensive way, are so pathetic. Yes, even if they're Hungarian.

@sHarris167 I share your opinions except one thing- Slovaks dont hate Hungarians and as I know also Hungarians dont hate Slovaks. Of course we are talking normal, inteligent people. Not these few nazis that write here the same all over and over again. Greeting to Hungary

@zeib10 Well, yes, it depends on the person of course, but it's such a shame to see those people who you called "nazis that write here the same all over and over again" - there are so many of them here. OK, the maybe it's not >that< bad, but it seems to be so many of them.
Patriotism is a nice thing, but for me, it seems to be a little much - but, again, maybe it's only me.

Huns, Gepids, Avars, Slavs, Dacians, Cumans, Bulgars, Magyars all this people populated those land in the past, but neither of them were able to control and establish a long turn principle or Kingdom in it except the Magyars. 800 hundred years rule was not enough for you to prove who is the master of the land !;)

Na idefigyelj te kis szar szlovák pöcs: ha összefogunk a lengyelekkel, 3 perc alatt a földdel tesszük egyenlővé szerencsétlen országotokat! Meg különben is nemcsak történelmetek, hanem saját nyelvetek sincsen: azt a csehektől loptátok el! A Himnuszotok is egy magyar népdal, ha dallamát hallom, mindig a népdalt éneklem magamba!
