  • I ordered this movie last night! So excited to watch!

  • its funny cuz I remember in like 1997.. I told my wife at the time to stop by the video store and rent a comedy and a scary movie for us to watch..and she rented this film..as we started watching we noticed it was done in Dayton ( our hometown) and at the end here when Goose walks out of the alley in the background you see two people sitting at the bus stop..they stand as Goose falls to the ground... Thats My ex- wife today when she was 17..what the chances of renting a movie and be in it??

  • this is AWESOME!

  • Jim was my neighbor! That's my only claim to fame!

  • stunning finale...the low-budget Apocalypse Now

  • i fucking love this movie!!

  • This might be the most testosterone-fueled movie ever...and one of the best microbudget film projects as well.

  • I really want to buy this movie but I don't know where to find it.

My dad was in it, no lie. He didn't have like a big part or anything he was just friends with Jim at the time and got to have a small part in this.

  • masterpiece.. I remember my first viewing on VHS many years ago.

  • I hope so i bought it from a company called Exploited ive done a search and carnt find them?. I also have Roadkill: The Last Days of John Martin (1994) and My Sweet Satan (1994) ..

  • its been released a few times on VHS in different places. Exploited did indeed have a release date set. this release though, was cut by the BBFC (uk censors) however. Despite this, the BBFC STILL insisted on taking back its decision, and the tape was banned. Cut or not cut, that considered i'm sure your tape is worth a bit. it is rare, but pops up now and again on ebay. incidently, how f**king cool is jim van bebber in this??

  • also check out the internet move database (messageboard for deadbeat at dawn) for more info!

  • oh shit i though this was a very rare film. I bought this on vhs years ago still in attic. i was hopeing he became big in films so my tape would of been worth something because it was signed by jim van bebber.

  • this is form the dvd but i b et your vhs is worth alot

  • This is the most fucking badass movie ever. Hands down.

  • it reminds me of those snowman movies i made without a budget or good actors(my bros cHums were the cast) and even some of the stunt mopves are similar(but this one is cooler and edgyer) 5/5 for a grand time

  • Great Post!!!!! Five Stars!!

  • 3:37 lol!

  • OH SHIT!!! Never saw this movie before ... some fucked up scenes man

  • no joke, no sarcasm, this is the best fight scene ever

  • intense and with extreme shouting

  • This part is just too bad ass for me to comprehend

  • Hey! It's Boncrusher. I'm glad you like the movie and I'm sure Jim is too.

    Peace

  • @RedMakhail Duuuuude! Your monologue is the SHIT!

  • Unfortunately I've seen hardly any of Jim Van Bebber's work; when I was going through my "everything that was horror or cult" phase of moviegoing, hardly anything of his was even remotely seeable. This is one excellent fight scene, however, especially taking into account that this is one of those indie films where the director had to do everything himself. Betcha Orson Welles never did any of *his* own martial-arts sequences. :-)

  • I love this movie, even though I own the Synapse Version that Van Bebber spit the dummy over. Guy is the Peckinpah of his generation. Completely insane genius.

  • I met Jim Vanbebber at a horror convention in the early 90s, really nice guy, powerhouse of a movie maker - pretty much did everything himself on this first full length feature..one of my fave low budget actioners

  • I've got this movie and it's really good!

  • uhhhhhhhhhh I kinda dont even wanna watch this because Ive only witnessed one amazing scene, I have a feeling as a badass film enthusiast I need to own this. Think ill watch anyways

  • This is gritty personified.

  • Bad. Fucking. Ass.

  • I rented this movie a couple times years ago and loved it.Found out today through Fangoria's site that an entire collection of Jim Van Bebber's films will be coming out as a set through Dark Sky films including this one.

  • oh good lord what a terrible awesome movie

  • wow, awesome movie, Jim is awesome!!!

  • Really?

  • ya, at the end credits you'll see the name Leslie Orr, that's my mom.

  • @MidnightSorrowMRB : No offense dude, but I've seen your mom naked in van Bebber's 'The Manson Family'. She's pretty cute.

  • This is an amazing movie, I know Jim very well, he's a great guy, I can't tell you how many times he almost died trying to film this movie.

  • please, get me an autograph of him!

  • that is quite possibly the most violent fight scene i have ever seen

  • o damn num chucks

  • OH MY GOD, this movie looks kickass!!!!

this is cool action not like any of that new Matrix shit.

action should be served raw, relentless, realistic (well almost) and gory. I have to get this movie realy soon!

  • You won't regret it. Dude I found a pretty good copy at F.Y.E.
