an interesting thing about Chris Rainey. His top speed does not come with the first step like Harvin or B. James. In the video, Rainey seems to get top speed around step 8-10. In fact, if he gets more than 10 steps he scores a TD 70% of the time in this video. You can see the 5th gear turn over later in the run rather than earlier. Interesting considering he still has the fastest 40 on the team.

an interesting thing about Chris Rainey. His top speed does not come with the first step like Harvin or B. James. In the video, Rainey seems to get top speed around step 8-10. In fact, if he gets more than 10 steps he scores a TD 70% of the time in this video. You can see the 5th gear turn over later in the run rather than earlier. Interesting considering he still has the fastest 40 on the team.

thats cause rainey has great change of directon. 4.22 to 4.24 is neck and neck 60 more yards and demps would kill his ass. raineyes fastest time in the 100m is 10.73 u cnat tell he hits his top end speed reall quick other wise he would be realy faster in the 100m easy to see.but 40's are overated anyone can line up and run a 4.2.

When Rainey wants to beat you, he will. Demps is a baller, Devine is a baller, and all three will be in the NFL in a few years. But Rainey beat them both when it really counted, head to head.

He is one of the most exciting football players to watch in the nation, and i am including NFL. His quickness,agility, and vision allow him to make defenders look foolish week in week out.Keep up the hard work and dont listen to anyone hating on you Chris,they are just jealous because of your talent and the recognition u get for it.

Rainey beat Demps in a 40 trial recently, just like he beat Devine in high school when they raced in a parking lot.
Rainey is a competitor and will not allow anyone to beat him. He may not be the fastest every single day but on the day it counts he WILL be the fastest.
Rainey is a baller and UF is lucky to have him and his Lakeland team mates from one of the greatest teams in the history of highschool football.

Rainey is faster than Devine but Noel has otherworldly balance and instinct so he is the better runner. Rainey is a beast tho, in my opinion he'd be better at safety as a Ed Reed, Reggie Nelson type player.
