The reason it is legal to avoid tax is because the people in charge of this country get it paid directly in there pockets rather than in to the public purse.

You can be in a space where you pay little taxes. If you have a problem with that, then that is simply your problem and your misunderstanding. So it is right, and it is very legal. @portsanity Repeat it all you want. To enter a shop and sit down is completely illegal. That's why people were arrested. The convoluted laws about tax allow companies to defer, substitute and manage the amount of tax they are legally abided to pay. It is completely legal.
If the law says so, then it says so. Courts are interested in supporting the law, not what you think.

The people of the shop were not arrested for the sit in but for refusing to leave when they were told to do so by a police man.
They will all have their charges dropped because the police also told them on camera that they wouldn't be arrested if they left the shop

They can say they aren't making any money, and what would you do? Force them to pay until they are broke, because it's moral? They owe you something? No, they don't.
If they legally do not have to pay tax, then they won't. It really is that simple. They aren't in business to support the public.

@salemandpepper LOL that's a huge assumption. They choose to donate funds to a party they like. You can't knock them for that. But to say it's in place of taxes is just wrong. I keep saying, go study the tax rules and you will see how it's done. Loopholes are not illegal. It might suggest a flaw in how the system needs to be in order to maintain a more positive balance, but that is just a need for change in legislation. Nothing dishonest about running inside the boundaries of the law.

I have just found out also that F&M own primark who make their money from child labour and sweatshops.

This video cannot be put into our opensource video player as it has adverts in it - This is blocked from playing in anything but the youtube video player. This is a problem for radical media projects as we cant promote as it wont play in the external video player embeds.
1) don't use copyright music on youtube
2) use other video hosting sites
youtube is a hamster cage... please try not to encourage people to live in cages...
