This is the first time I've ever listened to Earshot and I've missed out... Decided to check them out after reading Tool's Wiki page and found out that Earshot is one of the bands they say was heavily influenced by Tool. You can definitely hear it and see it in their artwork.

Great band!! Glad to have found another new source of good music to enjoy!

This sounds like A Perfect Circle, but not so much Tool. I've been listening to Tool for three years now, and these guys don't remind me of them to a point that it's shocking. I am impressed with Earshot's music so far.

I wouldn't really go that far man, Earshot is a good band and I've heard "Getaway" , "Wait" and "Misunderstood" and the lead singer kind of sounds like Maynard from Tool, but don't get me wrong, they are a good band and they do have potential, but I would say Tool and APC are better, no other band could reach their level, but this band is unique and they're getting kinda close to it if they keep it up and do more concerts.
