Unfortunately, Cheney comes off as simply Lame. If he wanted to make an effective protest statement, he would have walked about normally, sat down and then refuse to stand during the ceremony. Notice he didn't even applaud once during the inauguration. Rosa Parks didn't fake injury, she made a statement.
