Aruba up until today is the happy island in the Caribbean with the highest return rate. In 2009 we had beaten our own tourism RECORD!, and that has been so since 1954. Slendering Aruba this is a prime time advertisement that goes world wide and that is something that we cannot finance, so in a way thank you. If americans press didn't slender Aruba so much maybe today we wouldn't be so known. Even in China and far back in Russia the name Aruba is known, thanks to the american press

That all could have changed if their justice system would have tried, convicted and imprisoned him, but they let him scott free. Aruba is beautiful though and nobody should be turned off by one bad apple. I know one thing, my kids won't be going anywhere especially out of the country without adult supervision till they're 18.

Natalee was 18 years old and she choose to go to the beach with Joran herself.

If it is true that Natalee died on that beach due to some alergic reaction to liquor abuse that night, Jorans' crime was in this case not murder, but only illegally dumping of a corpse. As he was 17 at that time, he would have got a maximum of 1 year youth detention, probably even less. But there was no proof, there was no body. Without proof you cannot convict a person!
