Doogie was the fortunate victim of your love and respect for animals.

I am so glad to see Doogie lived his last days with a person to love and respect he so deserved.

My current dog is a sweet dog who had the world against him.

I took him home because he needed someone to keep the world at bay so he could become happy and healthy.

A sad and happy story on the same time! Sad to hear that people treat animals like this and that the police and DA punishes to saver instead of the abuser. Incredible! The happy part is to see this dogs last months and how great he looks in this video! People like Tammy Grimes are an example of human beings who can call themselves "crown of creation".

After watching a couple of hours all those animalabuse vids the abuse of Doogie was just 1 too much. I sat there almost with tears in my eyes. My utmost respect for the brave person who saved him. At least he had some good months. But it's the world upside down where abusers are rewarded and good persons get the blame.

Doogie was one of the lucky ones in the end. Hopefully, dogs really DO have a short memory, so he only remembers being loved. God Bless Tammy Grimes, and I wrote an email to Governor Rendell in support.

This is a truly amazing story! What a difference all of you have made in helping Doogie recover. His abusers must never get him back or be allowed to have other pets EVER! Please give him a him a hug for me!

I just want to thank you for rescueing this precious baby. He is adorable. I have 6 dogs I have rescued. The people that mistreat animals should be shot!
