@jabzfabz I do know wot ur sayin in-terms of money making yes, but I think its a matter of pride where Sony r concerned and the developer Naughty Dog. They've done quite a few games for PlayStation over the yrs, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and now Uncharted which is kinda becoming PS3's flagship game, a mascot even. So I cant c PlayStation letting this one go anytime soon, its just like Microsoft and Xbox with the Halo series, MasterChief is considered a mascot for Xbox.

@jabzfabz 3rd Party games do make more money for companies, but each of these giant gaming groups will still keep one franchise bk that they consider their baby, and only for their console. Look at the Nintendo wii, has benifited enormously from 3rd party, but Nintendo still choose to keep their own "Ninty Family" that bieng the Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Starwing, series their own. They own it and those r their mascots, games that represnt them. I actually prefer wen consoles made their Own games.

@jabzfabz I actually like to c wot each console has to offer, wot defines them, like wen u look at Masterchief u know straight away thats Xbox, same with Mario/Nintendo, and wot used to b Resident Evil, Tekken, MGS for PlayStation (although Metal Gear was originally on NES & NSX, which is kinda y Konami did Twin Snakes as a sign of respect to Nintendo, same wen Capcom did remake of original Resident Evil 1 only on Nintendo console).
