I think they sound better in japenese because haruhi actually sounds like a guy and the others sound plain weird honey sounds more like a child, tamaki sounds more like a playboy and the twins just sound more better
@Aurasword90 the japan version is usually better but i rather lissen to a dub then read a sub. for example i really wanted to watch Vampire Knight but it's only subbed so i bought the manga instead if i'm going to read it should be a book. reading a screen is hard on my eyes after a while.

My opinion is that both actors for Tamaki (Mamoru and Vic) contributed their own special something to the character. I love Tamaki, and I love Mamoru and Vic because they both have amazing voice range which is necessary for that character.
personally i loved it, i dunno, maybe it's because i havent seen the subbed in a while, but honestly i think the VA's did a wonderful job, i mean have any of you tried voice acting? it's hard work, the japanese va's have it easy they say the lines from a storyboard and the animators animate around it, the american dubbers have it harder because they use existing animation and try to fill in the words as well as they can. it's really hard trust me,i do fan dubs and they are hard sometimes but fun
I think the dub is pretty good, as far as dubs go. I haven't heard enough to say whether I think everyone did a spectacular job, but I'm certainly looking forward to it. I do think that Tamaki could have been slightly deeper, but who knows? It IS only the first episode. Once they vest themselves in the series, I'm sure they'll do wonderful. And as someone else said, there are far worse dubs.

Phew, i don't think of ed every time I hear this voice. That means I'll actually be able to watch this. I really like Honey's voice, it's cute without being wayy too feminine like Momiji (furuba)'s.
I honestly really like Vic, but I think they picked him more for how he does moe-infected Tamaki than how he does Tamaki the rest of the time. Honey isn't bad. Sometimes the twins are good...mostly when they're both talking, but generally speaking, I'm not a fan. Haruhi is too deep. I know that they're supposed to get her to be androgynous, but she's also more soft spoken.
Tamaki has the worst voice no offence to Mr. vic, but Funimation should have gotten better voice acters, I think the voice actor of momiji should have done Hunny Senpai, Tamaki's voice should have been better, i heard Haruhi's official voice, it's HORRIBLE!

NO! How can they do that?! Tama-chan sound's aweful! T.T at least for his character. It's not right. Honey hardly fits and the twins...no. I'll stick to the manga if it comes to this.

I am greatly disappointed in FUNimation. This is sad. Really, really, sad. The voices of hunny made me want to hit something. The voice of Tamaki made me want to scream. And the twins...SOMEONE is gonna die.

Well considering the high expectations people have for Tamaki, I don't think Vic will do too bad a job. It'll be tough yes, but they wouldn't have picked him if they didn't think he'd pull through. Let's just wait and see.
I'm a little freaked that Vic would be playing Tamaki, but I'm sure he'll do fine. As for the twins, I'm loving the VA's for them! They're two of my favorite actors! And as for Hunny, Luci Christian is a good choice.

It's the real deal, just a small clip from a clip that someone took at AnimeExpo on their camera. The clip's been passing around the internet recently and the audio is from the clip (which explains why it isn't perfect quality since it's camcorder audio).

The voices sound better in the trailer, though you only get to here Vic as Tamaki and Caitlin as Haruhi. They did better than I thought they would. (:

Yay! I can't wait! I want to hear Kyoya's voice. I am a proud Kyoya fan girl! :D Although the whole Host Club is pretty darn awesome too. ^//^

I am greatly disappointed in FUNimation. This is sad. Really, really, sad. The voices of hunny made me want to hit something. The voice of Tamaki made me want to scream. And the twins...SOMEONE is gonna die.

My opinions:
Tamaki: It's kind of hard to tell, but sounds pretty good. n_n
Hani: Cute, but maybe a little too much so.
Hikaru and Kaoru: OHMYGOD. They sound PERFECT! I've watched this video a whole bunch of times just because of them. I. Am. Fangirling. XDD
I am SO excited for the DVDs! 53 days until the first set! (I know, I'm a freak. lD)

Why the hell dub Sakura Kiss? It's perfectly fine the way it is. As for my favorite dubbed voices, Hikaru and Kaoru win. Haruhi's voice was okay but Hikaru and Kaoru were pretty good (as expected)

That's because it's not about the voice, but the tone.
Vic may not have much range when it comes to changing his voice, but he's still an amazing actor.

Well considering the high expectations people have for Tamaki, I don't think Vic will do too bad a job. It'll be tough yes, but they wouldn't have picked him if they didn't think he'd pull through. Let's just wait and see.

I'm a little freaked that Vic would be playing Tamaki, but I'm sure he'll do fine. As for the twins, I'm loving the VA's for them! They're two of my favorite actors! And as for Hunny, Luci Christian is a good choice.

well we cant change the fact that Vic is tamaki(especailly if it sounds a little like ed)i like it, i really dont care as long i as i can hear it in english. Hunnys is right on and i love the twins and every one else(Kyoya, Haruhi and Mori)

Oh, Vic. No matter how many times people keep commenting how you're the perfect voice for Dubbed!Tamaki. I am not convinced. IDK, doesn't sound...Tamaki enough. Hunny sounds cute and alsmot accurate. The twins are turned out better than what I expected. Gaah, yay for Greg Aryes being Kaoru! <33

It's the real deal, just a small clip from a clip that someone took at AnimeExpo on their camera. The clip's been passing around the internet recently and the audio is from the clip (which explains why it isn't perfect quality since it's camcorder audio).
