i'm just starting to get into merry from reading purple sky. they said their sound was more retrock (retro rock) which is like el condor pasa (the bedtime story thing). but their image is eroguro (erotic and grotesque).

'angura' (not anguro) is shortened from the english word 'underground' so angura-kei means underground music.

and merry isn't angura-kei btw. they claim to be eroguro (erotic & grotesque).
