    Jesus’ claim about Himself

John 8:58-59: "‘I tell you the truth,’ Jesus answered, ‘before Abraham was born, I am!’ At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.”

  • @weteachers2

I don't see how being boy crazy is as good as being athletic. Haha, this video is about how you cannot define yourself with stereotypes.

    I just wish I could understand why so many people DON'T understand. xD;

  • I Am...AMAZING!

  • i don't know what to label myself. I like hip hop music but also old country and bluegrass. I listen to top 40 and underground punk. I am extremely liberal in some ways but right wing in other ways. I am for legalization of drugs but don't do drugs anymore. yup... i am confused. Sometimes i think it would be nice to fit neatly into a label.

  • Thanks for posting. I showed this to a Psychology class I taught and they enjoyed it.

  • @RobC311

    Really? nice! -highfive-

  • How you dress and how you act is what gives you a label. A label is who you are. Is it bad to be preppy? If I called you a "nice person" would I be labeling you? Labels aren't bad and people aren't as unique as they think they are.

  • @LunarPaint

We are the ones who create labels. Gothics, emos, athlete, nerds, etc. doesn't exist. And you are wrong, we are unique. There is no one like you, me or any other that live. that had lived or that will live. Want to refute me? Then find a person who thinks, acts and believe the exact things like you. For now, I will say you will fail because there is no one like you. You are unique.

  • A label is something we give to someone if they have certain characteristics. For example, a nerd is characterized as being intelligent but socially awkward. Are two nerds exactly the same? Nope.

However I never stated that there was two people who are exactly the same. Two people under the same label will be similar. Although you could argue that we are still unique you have to keep in mind that there is a difference between being unique and being special.

  • @LunarPaint

Just because someone is intelligent it doesn't he or she is a nerd. I had met very smart people who were athletes or even punks. Labeling is just made by us.

Yeah but they are not the same, which makes you unique. Moreover, similarities in what? Just in dressing or that people like the same thing? I bet they like different things to. For instance, two people might like basketball but one might dislike a food or music that the other might like. Like I said, labels are useless.

  • I love this video it is so true!

  • I am...me! :)

  • She needs a label saying:

    `I am hot`! xD

  • Guys, the video is showing you could have whatever style you want, label you want, but underneath...

You are still the same person. You are still you.

  • ya are ignorant. these videos are about NOT placing labels on yourself and people. get it straight please!!

  • this kid's a newb fag

  • yeah serious fuck labels just live!

  • ah screw labels

  • yeah, that's what this video is saying. we need to stop using labels.

  • oh my, she's just showing styles.

  • the vid means more than showing styles

  • funny how they sterotype

  • I am myself.

  • why it not just say i am ugly

    hahaha

  • stupid.

  • i think im like a mix of boy crazy and preppy!!! =]

  • i like the boy crazy 1 hehe

  • I Am preppy :] but im a cheerleader what do u expect? lol

  • Personally, I don't think being labeled is bad.

I mean, some people just be labeled for fashion or something...

  • Why are there so many "anti-label" posts on the internet? I know that I dress a certain way because I want to be associated with a certain group or set of ideas. How is that wrong? A label is not a bad thing. A label is just calling an apple an apple and an orange an orange. You dress or choose to act like the group you most want to associate with. How is it wrong to "label" someone?

  • I hear ya, it depends though on where you stand with God. You see a lot of us Christians don't like labels because were defined by God not by styles, fashion and music. We believe to be defined by God because he determines are life, not a cultural movement of clothing and music and people's labels. However, I think Christians can be a disciple of Christ that likes sports, preppy clothes and Goth clothing. Do you notice the order? A Christian first then your favorite style. I hope this helps!

  • That's bullshit.

Labels have nothing to do with your religion, I (and other people I know) dislike them because we don't want to be part of some group, we all have our individual styles that we like. It's alright for people who want to belong to a certain group, but not all styles can be matched to just one group.

People just don't want others to think that they cut themselves because they are "emo", or whatever prejudices their label is associated with...

  • I wasn't saying that just christians disagree with labels, i was just trying to help you understand for a Christian's perspective on labels. I didn't mean to offend you. I don't judge a person by their shell, i embrace people because deep down they are also created by God and we need each other. We may not have the same beliefs, you may not ever believe in what i believe in, but that's your choice. Our eyes interfere with our hearts, and our hearts interfere with our eyes? agree?

  • I see your point and I apologize for being rude.

"Our eyes interfere with our hearts, and our hearts interfere with our eyes" sums it up very well in my opinion.

  • No matter what you do you will always be labeled, either by yourself or by those around you.

  • Labels suck. :(

  • Why do ppl put boundaries up? we are all created in God's image. So why do ppl put up fences between each other? why are we grouped? We are God's creations and he looked down at us and said that we were "good".

We are looked at as the same by the creator... Our talents are also gifts from God and we should use them to praise him =] luv the vid. btw.. that was a cool idea to use the name tag stickers.. its pretty sweet...

  • Not everyone believes in god and would find this comment annoying. Just a thought I'd put that out there

  • it has nothing to do with religion dumbfuck. I bet you are one of those fuckheads who label people.

  • did you read the comment i was replying to? besides all I was saying is that not everyone believes in that. And how I see people is really none of your business for you don't know me.

  • no, i dont label people, only God knows the heart of others...and i dont know if u realize but, this video made by bluefish tv and is a christian site and i thank God that u are viewing these videos because i believe seeds are being planted.

  • Who ever said it was better?

  • This video is amazing! There are so many various stereotypes in society on how teenagers should be labeled. It is so hard because sometimes it can be difficult to discover your true identity, especially if you are growing up. I think that in the end, the person's heart is what really matters. Not their assumed identity given by others.

  • we need to find our identity in christ

  • i love this video!!!

  • labels do not determine who you are..

the only person that truly understands you is god.. he sees you beyond what you are labeled as.. he labels you as his creation.. human beings.

  • what does it depict?????

can any one please explain the message........

  • im not sure exactly what it means, but im just gonna guess. when people ask who you are, you might say, well i am athletic, etc like in the video. but that doesnt describe who you really are inside. its so much deeper than looks. at the end she says i am confused, because she doesnt know who she really is. its basically saying, one not to label people, especially on their apperance, and also to take the time to figure out who you really are. does that help?

  • diffrent. but most people would rather not have a lable....

  • I am Square.

  • really well done. one of my amateur favs :)

  • Stop labeling yourself ;)

  • i love this video, can anyone please tell me the tune is played???

  • clothes= personality?

  • very artistically true.

  • What the...

  • Cool (Y) =)

  • VERY COOL

  • Cool. :]
