And the First 2 have done well internationally..."Sweet Drams" has hit the top 10 in many European countries. It has been #1 in Ireland,Israel and other countries. It has nothing to do with popularity. Michael Jackson had two albums that were re-released (Thiller and Number Ones). Those albums have shot up the charts and went to number one all around the world and he received 1,075% of airplay the day he died. Michael was in every magazine you can think of this year. You have to understand that this is Michael Jackson's year regardless of whether he is here with us or not. He is still shooting up the charts.

They're parents are obviously talking to them that way so they in turn speak that way. "Fucking them up," will do more damage to them in the long run because they will eventually grow numb to the beatings or physical disipline (which is the cause of kids killing each other with boards) and nothing will be able to help them. Parents need to learn to properly communicate 2 them.

I heard the nominations were based on sales so everybody nominated deserves to be there. Bey had one huge single off this album and people think she deserve every award, no. I love Bey, but when it comes to awards I stan for the India Irie's, Jill Scott's, Anthony Hamilton's who get no love for the beautiful songs they make.

Umm...."If I Were A Boy", "Halo" and "Sweet Dreams" were Beyonce's three international singles so far. And the First 2 have done well internationally..."Sweet Drams" has hit the top 10 in many European countries. It has been #1 in Ireland,Israel and other countries. So, All of Beyonce's international singles have been successful.

It has nothing to do with popularity. Michael Jackson had two albums that were re-released (Thiller and Number Ones). Those albums have shot up the charts and went to number one all around the world and he received 1,075% of airplay the day he died. Michael was in every magazine you can think of this year. You have to understand that this is Michael Jackson's year regardless of whether he is here with us or not. He is still shooting up the charts.

Skorpion, I highly disagree. The kids are cursing because thats the main way they've learned to communicate thus far. They're parents are obviously talking to them that way so they in turn speak that way. "Fucking them up," will do more damage to them in the long run because they will eventually grow numb to the beatings or physical disipline (which is the cause of kids killing each other with boards) and nothing will be able to help them. Parents need to learn to properly communicate 2 them.

Just like other posters have written, MJ wasn't nominated because of his death, but because he still dominated the charts after his death. I heard the nominations were based on sales so everybody nominated deserves to be there. Bey had one huge single off this album and people think she deserve every award, no. I love Bey, but when it comes to awards I stan for the India Irie's, Jill Scott's, Anthony Hamilton's who get no love for the beautiful songs they make.

I disagree Kevin, You have to look at the records sales...it is the people who vote...Michael has had a consistent stay on the charts since his death, with multiple albums. I think beyonce has had bigger years, IMO Single ladies was huge but what else...she had a double album which means double sales for one album...taylor swift has beat her out on the charts. No, Sasha Fierce did not qualify for double sales because there were not enough songs on each disc. When Outkast dropped Speakerboxx/Love Below, their album counted as double because there were enough songs on each disc to count as its own album. In other words, Beyonce's counted as one album. It went double-platinum, meaning she sold more than Lady Gaga, yet Lady Gaga is nominated for Artist of the Year and Beyonce is not? Something is wrong with that.

Sorry but I disagree with you about MJ. What MJ done to the charts after he died was phonemenal. If those albums were not dated he would have been number one on Billboard. All of his CD's were in the top 10. It is MJ only he can get nominated like that for a new interest in old music. MJ G.O.A.T. he is the man, and he got it like that. Beyonce should have been nominated artist of the year for Single ladies but after that she seemed like she sort of lacked on the charts a little.

no Kevin for the artist of the year they break it into the biggest artist in the different genre. Eminem is the biggest rapper so he should be in it and his album is selling, he is not just the biggest rapper but artist worldwide. You got to just come at Michael because he is the one keeping Beyonce out. If it's based on sells then Taylor should win artist of the year. To be honest [huge Beyonce fan] but neiter her nor Michael because one this is Beyonce's worst sales albums numbers etc. this just isnt a good year for her music sheo only had one #1 and most of her single BARELY made it into the top 40. The Michael thing... he doesnt deserve to be in the same categories with working singers he has NO new music has done nothing for 5 years i know this sounds wrong but Michael doesnt deserve anything at this award show
