I should know that because I have this game in two different versions on the SNES and it simply sounds faster on that part of the song. If this was Mario in the castle, he's invincible and having no problems. Translated, that means this is one HECK of an excellent job! Especially in the gameboys - redoing them in triplets just gives the tune more of its proper creepy elegance.

Try increasing the volume of the gameboys that are in mid-arpeggio. (it still sounds like the gameboys are slower than the actual tempo.)

Each note of the arpeggio increases in volume, as do each of its echoes. (ie. the top is full, second from top is 2 below, 3rd is 3 below, 4th is 3 below, etc. Then, the echoes are done by 3/4thing the first echo and 1/2ing the second.)

It sounds VERY bland if the crescendo happens too quickly.

This might be easier if MPC had a wider range of dynamics. Basically, it has pp, then maybe mf, then ff. Not too much to do inbetween.

I LIKE what you did to that intro, the bridge is a little jarring though, all those animal noises at once, lol. I like that you changed the gameboys to airplanes too, that's what I did with my version.

For doing this by ear, it's superb. It looks really different from my midi notation, but it sounds pretty damned accurate, amazing.

The 0:49 part is actually both gameboys and airplanes stacked. I prefered the sound that made to just gameboys.
