wonderful expression and voice! I'm doing this for my senior recital and am still figuring out the ornamentation for the second A section...there are so many versions of this song....which is why I love it!!!

Funny thing about diction. Most English speakers have a fairly easy time pronouncing other languages accurately, regardless of their knowledge of the language itself. For speakers of other languages to pronounce English, on the other hand, usually isn't as easy.

nooo! i don't think most (at least americans) speak other languages well... with the pronaounciation, actually i have always thought of them as one of the worst ones in this area. i least after what i have heard myself. honestly, american-italian sucks, american-japanese sukcs, american-french, DEFINITELY sucks, and american-norwgian sucks, and american-latin sucks as well.
sorry but this is my opinion, and i have very into this subject:P

No, the pronunciation is strongly un-English at many points. It is perfectly possible and musical to sing 'Shall' with an 'A' - which is just what you hear on all the other performances, rather than 'Shell' or 'Shill'. (Otherwise how would anyone sing about a shell or a shill?)
She pronounces 'th' and 'd' perfectly well in most of the song, but it goes wrong at 'Till Alecto free te tet, From teir eternal bands' -?
Anyway very well sung, and you can usually learn some English in London...
I like baroque music with grand piano :-(

You are completely wrong. English speakers are usually very bad speaking or singing other languages

@richtomes English is a hard language to sing. For the most part it doesn't make sense tonally.

she's got a great voice and she only sings "shill all" because that is the kind of pronunciation you use for this kind of singing
