Awesome, wish I could highball some of my O scale trains without them derailing, I got my switcher which was geared 100% opposite to a real switcher from 0 up to 130 scale mph in only 1 second once with a small train in tow but its brakes weren't fast enough and it derailed. Some of my engines can get to around 150 smph, even 200 maybe, but they'd derail immediately if I floored it like that.
Thats what I have, this is what I call a super locomotive!!! Got eight of the models including some 80 macs. Nice engines Kato makes unfortunately, now days their kind of hard to come by.
Dumbass. It was going waaay to fast; scaled up to actual size, it would be around 100 mph, which no loco can do ! THAT is why operators that know what they're doing run them "slow".

Yeah, me too, liked the speed, very realistic. Many vids are either too slow or fast on the mainline. This Kato locos sure are powerful!
