@Picsabaszo12 There's no such thing as a "silencer" that's why they're called suppressors.  I don't know what they're getting out of this but top of the line AR-15 suppressors get a 35 dB reduction.

Except for a very few purpose designed integrally suppressed firearms, suppressed means "don't need earpugs" or "doesn't sound like a gun, if you are a couple blocks away" not "can't hear it if you aren't in the room"

And AK derivatives, like the Saiga, have a really loud and violent action anyways.

@derfsanderson If the round breaks the sound barrier you will still get a sonic boom. Shotgun ammo velocity ussually starts around 1200fps. Speed of sound starts around 1100fps depending on temperature and sea level. I have fired from one of these suppressors and they really cut down the sound big time!
