  • Sick!

  • Big idea!!

  • RAW

  • eleknya

  • That seems painful.

  • That is a lot of detail for a single tattoo. Props for sticking with it.

  • this is pretty cool actually

  • DUMB fucking tattoo...

  • @ThreeCrowns thats your opinion.

  • OUCHHHHHHHH

  • tattoos.. Too mainstream. i use stickers

  • 3-4

  • What a dumb tattoo...

  • wow relly nice tattoo!!!

  • @BetterThanBieber He just took the long (fun) way to get to the same answer? Why is that wrong? He said roughly 5 shots a minute, you said about 4 and 1/2. So 1) why is he wrong and 2) Why the hell does it matter?

  • 1! What a great idea!

  • Alternate tattoo method. See my video: Ultimate tattoo

  • you look stupid with just one tatoo, gotta get a few atleast

  • @mattmanmkb You look stupid because you cannot spell tattoo.

  • I always come across the chicks video idk who they are but what I do know I would put them in line and fuck them at a time

  • OMG so awesome

  • that was soo sick!!

  • Super cool. Must have been time consuming.

  • this is the gayest thing in the world, who the fuck would get a horse tattooed on their arm like that, fucking douche.

  • call 303-810-0810

  • So im guessing hes a photographer!

  • GREAT VIDEO :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why isn't the tattoo artists hand in the shot at all? Not sure how they did this.

  • @timmilgram Over the period of four hours they take a picture every few seconds to show their progress. They put his hands in a few times though, he was wearing blue gloves.

  • Tatoos are the stupidest thing a human could ever do to it's body. Yeah buddy that's gonna look hot when your 87 years old

  • @TheBrokenforks Who's gonna care what they look like when they're 87 years old? If you don't like tattoos then don't get them, don't put other people down for it.

  • its ok but why a camera and film???

  • is the guy a photographer or.... ugh i dont even care whatever

  • @tito1894 their body not yours fuckwad

  • @tito1894 you sound like a close-minded douchebag. good thing tattoos filter out people like you, from people worth knowing

  • @tito1894 stfu douchebag

  • @tito1894 what if you get 1 tattoo...but its just really really large and covers your body

  • @tito1894 you can have one tattoo that covers your whole body.....

  • @ExtraStrongGeneral i guess that takes more than one tattoo session so technically it will be more than one

  • @Golph246 it doesnt matter how many sessions its still one tattoo....

  • @ExtraStrongGeneral Nice u owned him.

  • @tito1894 somebody doesn't appreciate art.

  • @tito1894 Your body is already ruined after 2 tattoos...

  • @intzaki ur a fuckin idiot tattos are art

  • @skatez1997 They might be art, but doesn't takes the fact that your ruining your body.

  • @skatez1997 Most girls don't like it. And believe me I love art. And art can be found everywhere. But tattoos are something that you can't erase. And it seems really useless to do many and looks ugly.

  • @intzaki you can erase them with a electric thing... fail

  • @JCGpowerstrider you can erase them with a electric thing... fail? look at your sentece. Now back to me. Back to your sentence. Your sentence will never be like one of mine.

  • @JCGpowerstrider they never completely go away , unless it was someting fair i guess. thats why people call them permanent , because they are.

  • @tito1894 Explain what the fuckin difference is between 1-2 tattoos and 7+

No one cares about your shitty opinion. Go dig a hole.

  • @scoley32 well the difference is 5 tattoos.

  • @wombatman985 Shoulda seen that one coming I suppose.

  • @scoley32 looks like people care more about his opinion than urs dumbass look at the thumbs up compared to yours BITCH

  • @oakcliff621 Just means there's more dip shit's roaming around this world than I thought. I'll go ahead and add you to the list.

  • @tito1894 what would u call a sleeve tattoo? u gotta admit.. they look good sometimes

  • @tito1894 ever heard of a sleeve? or half sleeve etc?? dumbass

    MrFreshLaw

    Nive tat!

  • Dude.. that tattoo looks sick! I can't wait to see the rest of it (:

  • Self-harm never looked so pretty!

  • Great Video. Especially that you don`t see the working hand! Very cool - best tattoo timelapse ever

  • :/ that hurts

  • Its painful :(

  • Do you have a picture of the full tattoo? like not rolled, in one flat piece? Cause I wantt that tatooo sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad,

  • @xjunkyarddogx You could take the snaps from the video and roll them out in a *shop like program then seam them together. :) or... you could come up with something similar but unique, that would be WAY more cool (to have a unique one that is). no?

  • I feel bad for the guy getting it done, would have taken twice or 3 times as long to pause every time to take a picture

  • @answersInNemesis he shouldn't have to pause (much) 'sept that he described creating the tat as if it was drawing itself.

If the distance is always in focus, he just needs a plunger to snap on a timer (being manual). With editing if there's an arm, he'd just drop that frame.

Editing could take as long as the piece or longer. ;)

  • @answersInNemesis ...append to my last statement, personally I'd take as many shots as possible to have the option of mixing and matching & make another cool vid down the road. However, with a manual setup, it's harder as you have to swap cans & likely get maybe 24 shots @Knux68 ? Unless he rolls his own.

Personally, I'm going to use my Nikon D5000 & will set it on an interval timer. The extra manual work is GREAT for a photographer, but I'm a geek/artist... so I use my tools differently. ;)

  • Cool video with all the stop motion and stuff.

Too bad on the ugly tattoo though.

  • That's one way to ensure you'll never have a day job.

  • thats ugly

  • nice video, awful tattoo

  • I'm no math wiz here, but this is mine, correct me if I'm wrong: 4 hours of work 1054 shots (used) for a 1 minute 17 second video (77 seconds) 13 frames a second (ish) 3600 seconds in 1 hour 14400 seconds in 4 hours 1107 shots at 13 frames a second = 14391 seconds or 4 hours (ish) 60 seconds / 13 frames = 4 (5ish) frames per minute 60 minutes * 4 hours = 240 minutes * 5 frames a minute = 1200 frames 5 frames a minute / 60 seconds = a shot every 12 seconds Did you snap 5 shots a min (roughly)?
  • @thecolor @krizitoyness ...wow nice work. Yeah you're pretty much exactly right!

  • @Knux68 awesome! :D I've never really taken the time to do the math, but love the outcome of the stop frames I've tinkered with and seen (like yours). I've got some new ink in the works and was inspired by your piece. :) Nice work! Assuming my artist is cool with it, I'll post it once it's done. It will clearly be parts like yours as he is guessing about 4-5 hours just for the outline. :| WHOA!

    thanks again

  • @thecolor you're right it's not a math wiz problem, it's just that you have way too much free time.

  • @warmaker911 well, when I'm interested, I go all out... even if it seems a tad overboard. ;) I'd rather have more information than to little. :) And, it was a math problem in the morning to help wake me up... stimulating even if it seems simple to some. ;)

  • @thecolor why couldn't you just divide the total no. of shots with total minutes of shooting i.e. 1054/(4*60) = approx 5 instead of bringing up all this irrelevant data?.....Maths is about keeping things simple

  • @thecolo you just mind fucked me...

  • @thecolor Obviously some parts are skipped over, and they took a picture every x minutes. It's not filmed, it's photographed.

  • @NeccoWecco yes, I get that. I wish camera makers would make a high enough res filming device we can all obtain (not cost prohibitive) that would allow filming in HD where we can grab a specific photo at the still resolutions we get today (double duty). Most HD capable devices are in the two to three mpx range which is clearly not great for print or comparable to still photography's 8+ mpx ranges. I do it when strapped for time or just have a challenging situation to capture but not ideal.

  • @thecolor ah...you must be Asian eh

  • @thecolor You're not a math wiz? Thoroughly amazed... I couldn't even do that and I'm decent at math.

  • @thecolor mor fry rish!

  • @Joshhhyyyyy don't get it. :|

  • @thecolor no math wiz liar

  • @thecolor yep, you're definitely not a math whiz. If you were, you'd know that you can find out how many frames per minute by dividing the total number of frames (1054) by the total number of minutes (4*60 or 240).

1054/240 = roughly 4.392 shots per minute, on average.

It's a very easy problem, but you tried to make it complicated (and you tricked 72 people into thinking you were good at math in the process). People are idiots. :|

  • @BetterThanBieber Hey he stated that he isnt a math wiz... So why dont you just leave him alone? Fucking trolls these days.

  • @BetterThanBieber let him have his moment douche!

  • @BetterThanBieber Omg your so smart! Fucking retard, your not either a math whiz. I taught that in 5th grade. Sweden mother fuckers, hot chicks, Ikea, Swedish house mafia, avichii, battlefield, volvo, NOT SAAB, and much more like 33% taxes mother fuckers

  • @BetterThanBieber So he's off by .6 shots per minute and you try and humiliate him.

Pssh, you're no better than Bieber.

  • @BetterThanBieber ya its easy to brainwash kids those days.

  • @thecolor You're a genius.

  • @thecolor yea right you're not a math wiz :P

  • Comment removed

  • @thecolor Read the massive maths comment most thumbed at the minute, it was about 5 frames per minute (one frame every 12 secs)

    :)

  • @willfeav are you referring to the math I did above? :) I just figured I'd make the comment for conversation sake (human thing) and then I did the math to share as I start my new piece on the 9th and really want to emulate @Knux68 's work, so COOL!. :)

  • That was really nice!

  • Marry me.

  • Sweet vid!

  • This isn't really stop motion, more of a time lapse video of your tattoo getting done.

  • @panda99x No it's stop motion, that's why the tatooist "stops" while a picture is taken and you do not see him in the frames. A time lapse is a continuous video with frames removed after. If this was the case you would've seen the artist drawing the tatoo.

  • @jcarrandson You're taking the term too literally, stop motion is an animation technique where frames are taken increments to create an illusion of movement. It is one still image, the lines are not going from one position to the next

This is time lapse, time lapse is not always the continuous movement you see in other time lapse videos. The increments made in this video are much larger (and less consistent) than those of the ones you normally see but still it would really be a time lapse video.
