  • one of their best songs ever!!!!!!!!! :) beautiful.......thanks for sharing this emotional song

  • wow... these guys manifested so many notions of truth in the young lad I was (when I had hair :) sometimes its hard to bear the flood of memories these brilliant compositions invoke. The Moody Blues experience will always remain timeless for me.

  • A cassette I bought at a record shop in 2010 brought me here.

  • This song is so sad, so true, so poetic.

  • this song is beautiful, makes me think about my life and how beautiful it really is

  • the cover doesn't put "the story in your eyes" as a featured song ???

  • God bless these people, this stuff makes me cry and that's healthy. Thank you Justin and company

  • This is the best group ever!

  • Such a beautiful song, it brings back so many memories happy and sad, at least it does for me.

    Isn't life strange indeed

  • Jesus is the one I had to run to, as much as l love you. He loves you more. Ask him to show you truth and come into your heart.

  • Nothing in the world quite matches the beauty of this song. With one of the most brilliant lead guitar lines played right onto the chorus!!

  • rocks me to the core

  • Great song, you never hear this being played on the oldies and the classic rock stations.

  • For a long time, I thought "On the Threshold of a Dream" was their best album, alond with "Days of Future Passed", but this entire album, Seventh Sojourn is right up there with all of them. The quality of work these guys put out with their first 4 -5 albums was truly amazing. To have that kind of musical talent and genius to match lryical ability, with orchestral arrangements, musical creativity and harmonies all in one, is once in a generation talent.

  • My favorite Moody Blues song, you don't hear anything like this anymore...the lyrics...simple but beautiful...hell, let's bring back the 70's, a time where music actually had heart and meaning, and the lyrics were more than words, they were an art, and what was so great was that, being the 70's, great lyrics were written to so many great songs, when the writers were probably high and stoned! Thats how good they were! =D

  • This is a song of pure beauty and magic. So touching to one's soul. The Moody Blues are such an inspiring band to your heart, emotions and soul. Just beautiful!! The Moody Blues!! xx♥

  • used to love this band. Last night i had a very relaxing time listening to one of my all time fav albums, "machine head" by deep purple. When i was traveling thru the far east i used to play moody blues songs in a restaurant in Afghanistan. Wow!

  • complete and total poetry!

  • This upload cant be embedded and has ads.

  • @pullbackbaby It's been claimed by the copyright police, that's why you see the ads.

As for embedding, I personally choose not to let my videos be embedded. It's a personal choice of mine.

  • so much talent in every aspect of the group. imortal stuff.

  • Scarlett Johansson I Love You, may we be together one day. Always Scarlett.

  • I remember a TV program (introduced by Dave Lee Travis?) a few years ago where classic songs were given new video interpretations; this was one and it really made me cry! Still brings a lump to my throat now - totally beautiful song!

  • @uksalesmanager I remember the prog too.It was from the late 80's or early 90's. I think it was called 'before we had videos' or something equally crass. But it was good.. I assume the BBC have wiped all the tapes,

  • to throw it away.....to lose just a day....the quicksand of time....you know it makes me want to cry

  • Love it!!!!!!

  • These fellas are a class act.

  • For Shep. You were a good dog.

  • Real tears down my cheeks every time this song plays I saw them Live .... Brilliant!!

  • Tears in my eyes every time i hear this song for ever

  • How lovely is this song, so pure and so brilliant just like a star.

  • Katherine from 90026 2009, I coming to see you. God Will Guide Me. I wish I could be in your Heart Katherine.

  • Vedrei benissimo i Pooh eseguirla in italiano!!!!! Andrebbero al numero 1 nella Hit Parade cantata da Roby ovviamente e con Stefano ancora alla batteria...Se fossimo ancora nel 1975....

  • Yea Tula, that is great music from one of many great artists. So many songs can truly bring out the best in people. You must be an amazing person! I have been pulling together a collection of songs that pull on the heart string. It is fun! I am up to 99 songs so far. Ranging from 1954 till today. Art in its purest form for sure! It makes you ponder on just what made any musician come up with that sound. Think about it, as you listen to this song for instance. Simply amazing!

  • Waterforpeople I hear you, I know not your plight nor your situation, but feel for you. This music can dig deep into ones soul and make them search.

  • Yes, John. LIfe is strange indeed. You said it, mate.

  • "Wished I could be in your heart

To be one with your love"

Agony to love someone you know is meant for you but is inaccessible. Maybe one day... I continue to hope.

  • @waterforpeople I can so relate to your post. To 'see' them at their soul level..their beauty is awesome and bright. But their eyes and heart do not see...what's right in front of them, or within. Very sad, to walk this walk. Best of luck to you.

  • @waterforpeople ...With you there

  • Beautiful and heartbreaking,

  • Thsi song makes me cry...

  • Yeah, isn't life strange? And aren't people strange?

  • Miss Katherine Anderson, I Love You forever, why are we not together already?

I'm Still waiting on Publishers. Not being with You Makes Me want to Cry.

I'll Tattoo Your name above my Heart soon.

  • I think there are more hawful songs than this......

    Jennie.

  • never heard nothing like this fab song....moody blues of my soul

  • I can't help but think that this song was very influential on Queen's style, at least their bombastic, operatic stuff. But of course, no one can match these guys. My favorite band of all time.

  • @GlorifiedTruth Opera was probably the source of their operatic stuff. Certainly prog rock was also there, since it and opera involve orchestral sound, but Queen was much more synth-oriented.

  • Why do i cry when i hear this makes me think of death

  • @oldpatcole why? life and dead are just words. the point is how to make our life better before death, isn't it ?

  • @sikaseph Words also express concepts, which is what the song is addressing, not linguistics

The point is what we make it, the choices we make as imperfect beings in an world that is what it is and no more or less.

  • @ksim43 so, isn't life strange....?

  • @oldpatcole I think you found your reason.

  • such a touching song.

  • So nice!!!!

  • @MiraBrazil So right!!!

  • Heard this today for the first time in years, I cried, for the time past, for the way we were then. 'I dedicate this to you' from FRUK

  • * * * * *

  • Sweet.

  • Up there with the greats, Queen and ELO.

  • Peerless!

  • simply beautiful

  • Saw these guys on Friday (19th Mar 2010) in Charleston SC. They are still amazing!

  • I saw the Moodies in concert awhile ago, and when they did this song, it made me cry! One of the most beautiful and meaningful songs ever.

  • @TulaRulez411 I saw them too... (Back in the mid '80s), so excellent.

  • @TulaRulez411. Tears. I know. God bless.

  • @TulaRulez411 this song is very sad.......i also cried the first time i heard this song....very beautiful song

  • Excellence at it's best....

  • Sembrano i Pooh dei tempi andati. O quanto meno nella capacità di tessere melodie mai stucchevoli. Moody Blues restano profondi conoscitori di certa musica pop-sinfonico...o cosa?

  • can we ask for more??????

  • Isn't life strange

    A turn of the page

    A book without light

    Unless with love we write;

    To throw it away

    To lose just a day

    The quicksand of time

You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry -

    Ahhh no regrets !

  • A book without LINES.....

  • Comment removed
