hah, this game looked so good when I first saw it over at my friend. I was used to blurry and slow (in most cases) n64 games on my old crt tv (with antenna port) and then my friend showed me this game on his new pc which was nothing special (500 mhz celeron, intel i740, 17 inch crt monitor) and I was really impressed how sharp and smooth it was, even if it was a 2nd rate nfs copy and running in low res, lol.
one has to admit that pcs were a league above consoles once.
cool! thanks for the advice, i've got windows 98 on an old 365 mb hard disk..lol but i have plenty of other hdd's i can use along side with it for games etc, too right about problems, my system keeps crashing, and looking 'bleached' and crashing when exiting quake, so, i shall give it try and get back to you! thanks!
do you have any updated 3dfx tools or drivers for windows xp? i've had murder trying to find decent ones. Also can you recommend any fps games to run with these cards?
I'm running Win 98--- too many problems try to get a Voodoo 5 running in XP. V 5 has two gpu in sli and running Win XP only one gpu works---half the power of a Voodoo 5 that's one draw back playing games in XP. ---changes into a Voodoo 4 32 mg video card. As for FPS games goods one are Quake 2 & 3 Sin Unreal Descent 3 Heretic 2
now, why do the cars on the street look so small?

lol. I actually had it running, no problems. worked on 7 as well

holy shit! so I'm going here with good old XP
ignaciojork 2 years ago
give 7 a try, try a dualboot first to see if it works for you.
If your pc isnt up to 7 on full speed, then stick to XP
