i think this is a good deal to buy this set for $20 and then buy scream 4 seperately.

sigh, Fred Myer selling this for 30.00 , I guess I'll order it at walmart site and have them ship to the house for free..,. when I went to walmart store to look for the set, they were selling scream 1 to 3 by alone set which cost 20.00 each

Can someone tell me if this particular set plays in a PS3 player? I saw another review that said these things were "Region A" which I have never heard of (as opposed to Region 1 for U.S. and Canada). I use a PS3 player to play DVD's and Blu-Ray's so it has to work in them. Someone please let me know if you are using a PS3 player to play this set. Thanks!

@jvs1955 First of all there is no such thing as blu-ray region 1. DVDs are numbered regions 1,2,3,4,5,6 and Blu-rays have letters region A.B,C. DVD region coding was split into 6 different regions. Blu-rays region coding has different policies, therefore was split into only 3 regions. ALL blu-rays released in US and Canada are region A or free. So yes it plays on a PS3

Do you recommend this set? I already have all 4 Scream films on DVD, and would like to know if it's worth it to buy this Blu-Ray set especially since it includes the two documentaries?

@mcdonaldsImLovinIt2 yeah i do recommend, Scream 1 in dvd is in its original 2.35, not anamorphic, but in blu its. Much better image quality and transfer is amazing. This boxset even brings 2 documentaries. So you have 3 films, 2 docs for less than $20

@superhans976 you're right. Indeed Saw 1 and 2 is region free, but Saw 3, 4, 5 and 6 are region A locked. Apparently old titles are most likely to be region free, newer titles are region A

I recently watched Scream 2 and for a horror movie,it wasnt bad. I still prefer the NOES series but a good film otherwise. Whose your favorite slasher?

It's been a month since this came out and I still can't find still screaming online anywhere. You'd think someone would have posted it on some site somewhere, but no. It's like it doesn't even exist.

While I'm tempted to pick this one up (it's only $20 and I only own them on DVD), it's also very dissatisfying. First of all, the packaging is really lousy. No embossed slipcover, BD labeled discs are just plain gray, and no inserts. Just very plain looking. However, it is a great deal and I liked 2 out of 3 of these films.

This is kind of a kick in the pants since I did buy the separate Scream releases back when they came out on Blu-Ray, but the documentaries weren't included. But since this set basically came out at $20, it's not too much of a rip off. I'll hold off until a good sale or something happens and pick it up at that point.

@MediaCholo There most likely won't ever be a box set that includes Scream 4. Not to long ago, Lionsgate (the company releasing the Scream Trilogy Blu-Rays) aquired the rights to Mirimax and many older titles, including several older movies that were released under "Dimension Pictutres". But The Weinstein Company put out and has the rights to the 4th one (it may have still said Dimension in front of the movie, but the ownership is still somehow different). So, don't count on a 4 pack.

I'm glad I got my Scream blu-rays seperate while they were on sale for $7 at Best Buy. I like the original cover art on those better than this. However, those documentaries are great and I'd like to have them. Do you know if Lions Gate will release the docs seperate, or if they're already on DVD? Thanks!
